"Very well, he came out last Friday, they were on time. Armin Rios was very thorough, very confident and very clean and he replaced the pipe. We hadn't asked for him to replace the pipe, but he said this pipe needs to be replaced he was very efficient. He installed a garbage disposal and a faucet."

"Completed on 7/4/2016 but with minor problem. The drinking water faucet is not tight. Contractor said it cannot be tighten. I got the impression that it is just not to rotate it. He put sealer to stop the movement. After about 4 months, the faucet moved and exposed the hole partially. Water can leak through the crack. Requested him to come back to fix it. He said it is not under warranty. It is the faucet problem. My opinion is a good plumber should find way to install properly; if it failed so soon, at least try to come back to put it back right under warranty."

"They do a good job. For just a toilet, some plumbers charge a lot of money and I just found them to be good. The best parts about them is their availability, promptness, and getting the job done. They were able to work with really old pipes. I was impressed with that. My husband thinks that the price was too much on one of the jobs, but I say that probably is a tenth of what they have done. They have done a lot of jobs for us. It was a terrible job that they had to do the last time they came, but they did it."

"Mike showed up asap, scoped the job requirements, gave a written estimate that was accepted by insurance company, had team out next morning to roll up rug in bedroom, break through concrete floor, locate actual leak (~6" laterally from where professional had estimated it to be) and about 18" beneath floor surface, repaired pipe, pressurized system to check it, however repaired pipe leaked (crimping a fitting onto corroded pipe didn't work), then properly cleaned, sweated new piece of pipe into place, repressurized system, inspected new work to verify success, filled hole with sand, covered and leveled that with freshly mixed concrete. All was completed in 1 day. Kudos. Thanks, Mike! Your timely response was greatly appreciated! Mike's bid was higher than that of the leak detection company; however, Mike's company was far more responsive to our need for hot water and was there the next day. The lower bid came from a company that wanted us to wait 21 days(!) for them to repair it. Since we had an understanding insurance company, they were willing to pay the higher cost for our comfort and convenience. That's right! You read it correctly. An insurance company that looked beyond their bottom line to put our needs first."

"

On my way out the door this morning I noticed that water was leaking from the control pipe we have coming out of hot water heater that leads to outside on front patio.  Freaked out thinking the hot water heater was busted.

As I was getting in the car I yelled to my husband to call Savior Plumbing to have them come take a look and see if we could get a new water heater.

My husband called and was told someone would arrive between 2 and 4 PM.  I got a call from my husband way before noon saying Savior Plumbing called him back, had a cancellation and they'd be right over.  They examined the issue and determined there was a corroded pipe.  They cut away the piece, installed and welded a new pipe in place and then VIOLA!  No leak and hot water flowing great.  Was worried the heater would need to be replaced as it is well over 10 years old but was told it looks brand new and is in great shape.  Guess previous home owner bought a nice model!

Can't say enough about how happy we are with the service given.  Technician did not try to oversell or up-sell anything - just fixed the problem quickly and efficiently.

We've used them once before to fix a couple of minor issues throughout the house and they are always very honest and trustworthy which is unusual in the plumbing industry from my past experiences with other companies.

HIGHLY recommend!

"We needed someone to replace our windows, and a friend recommended EDI, we called them and they responded very quickly and gave us a good price to replace all our windows. Having them working on that, we have decided to go ahead and replace floors, added also an interior paint and install new lights in our kitchen, living room, bedrooms and hallway. The place looks pretty much brand new now, all we have left to do is to renovate the bathrooms. We are very pleased with everything they have done for us."

"He was back the next day and ripped out the old sink, installed a new sink along with all new plumbing and drain (it was a mess!!) a new GFI plug, as well as roughing in new sheet rock. We had to leave for a lunch date but when we got home not only was the repair done, but he had hauled away the old sink, etc AND swept the entire garage. He is a very polite and professional man. This was the second job he did for us in the same month. The first job was installing a new water main shut off. We had the same great experience. So glad we found him. He is a true pro!!!"

"The project went very easy considering all contact between Nina at ARC Water Damage and myself was conducted by telephone. It would have been extremely difficult for me to have met with someone from ARC to sign work orders, pay a deposit etc. Having spoken with Nina I was very comfortable that ARC would do a quality and through job, without my personal involvement."

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Silicone caulk—despite having some adhesive properties—is not the primary thing that holds your sink in place. Rather, it seals the gaps around the sink to prevent water from leaking and causing issues with mold and corrosion. Most sinks are secured by clips, though some sinks are secured with two-part epoxy or brackets.

Your garbage disposal is not draining because it might have a clog due to food waste, a foreign object, grease, oil, fat, or it may have a broken motor. When water doesn't flush out of the disposal, that's a key sign that your disposal has a clog or needs repair.

While unplugging your garbage disposal and plugging it back in may help, most units have an actual reset button, a bright red switch found on the underside of your unit. If your garbage disposal needs resetting, you may notice this button sticking out about a quarter of an inch from the surface of the unit, with which it’s usually flush. Simply depress this reset button to reset the unit, and then test to ensure it’s working about 10 minutes later.

You’ll only need to replace your sink’s pipes when you start to notice signs of wear like corrosion or leaking. Most pipes last somewhere between 20 and 100 years, depending on the material. Copper and cast iron can last up to 100 years. Galvanized steel and brass generally have a 50-year lifespan. PVC pipes last 25 to 40 years.

Yes, you can install a farmhouse sink on an existing countertop—but there are some caveats. You’ll need to precisely measure. It’s best to choose a sink that’s the same dimensions as your existing sink, since your contractor won’t have to cut the countertop. Otherwise, pay close attention to the depth of your counter (the front to back measurement). You don’t want to install something that’s so big it sticks out beyond your countertop and cabinetry.
