"The Blu Remodeling/Perfection Cleaning was amazing! Their attention to detail is unlike anyone I have ever hired to clean my home. The first initial cleaning, took 7 hours. I have never had any other company take this much time to ensure everything was cleaned! I am in love with this company and their staff! I recommend them highly! Thank you, Yenny, you and your team are the BEST!"

"Bryson Heating and Air showed up on time! Gave me a reasonable bid. Installed a new unit! Cleaned out my old ductwork and took time after to show me how to clean my unit. Since I live in the country, “we got dirt!”! Joe himself over saw the whole process. Highly recommend! PS Joe also sold me a 25 Kilo Volt Solar panel grid. Saves me over $1000 am month. Solar is the way to go! Anything to save money right now."

"This is the best service I have had in a long time! They were quick to respond and come to my home. They repaired my toilets several times and recommend replacements due to the builders putting in the cheapest toilets there are. I will never call another plumber again. Thank you PM Prestigious Plumbing!"

"All work was done except installing the new vanity. I verbally told him I would keep the last $1000 until He came back and installed the vanity. He said he would come right over and install it when I got it in, that he needed to pay his guys for the work that has already been done. Because he said he would come right over in two or three days to install the vanity after I got it, I believed him and I paid the last $1000."

"I hired Paul of Building Expressions LLC to gut and remodel two (2) bathrooms in my home. Let me first say that Paul gave me a very affordable price compared to other service providers in my area. I also believe that Paul is a nice guy at heart. For these reasons, I am grateful. Overall, however, I did have a less than favorable experience working with his company on this job.  Here's why:
1. Paul initially told me that it would take 2 weeks to completely finish both bathrooms; 1 week per bathroom. The project ended up taking 2 months, partly due to unforeseen challenges with the structural integrity of the bathroom, but mainly due to numerous scheduling conflicts with Paul's other projects.
2. The quality of the work, visually, is very nice. However, structurally it is sub par. Due to my budget and the agreed upon price, Paul did much of the work himself instead of subcontracting the appropriate experts. I knew and was comfortable with this at the start because I was reassured by Paul that he was competent in general contracting, tiling, lighting, and plumbing. However, the day after the job was completed, my toilet overflowed and dumped about 3 gallons worth of water onto my bathroom floor. Thereafter, the toilet continued to leak continuously, causing my water bills to leap from about $160 to over $700. After several visits and attempts to fix the toilet, Paul was not able to do so. I ended up hiring a licensed plumber (for $75) who made the quick fix of replacing $20 worth of parts inside the toilet. I've also since had problems with bathroom #2. More specifically, I haven't had working hot water for about 8 months in the sink and also experience seasonal leakage from the P-trap of the sink. Additionally, the plumber that I hired told me the that the plumbing infrastructure underneath the house was done all wrong and he itemized the faulty work.
3. The most frustrating and unpleasant part about this entire project though, was Paul's utter lack of responsiveness and adherence to appointments. Throughout the 2 month project, Paul missed more than 10 appointments in which he was to come and do work on the bathrooms. In nearly all of these, Paul did not notify me of his cancellation; neither in advance or afterwards. Routinely, I would set aside time in my schedule to be home for Paul to do work, and he simply wouldn't show up. He wouldn't call in advance to reschedule nor would he call afterwards to explain why he didn't show up. He said nothing. I would have to call Paul to ask why he did not show up, sometimes not hearing from him until the next day. This was unbelievably frustrating and showed a lack of professionalism and lack of respect.
My overall rating for Paul is a "C." What I liked is that he really worked within my budget to get the 2 bathrooms done. He was also very pleasant while working and was accommodating to my questions and needs as a first time remodeler. He worked with a smile and I believe he is genuinely a nice guy. However, I feel that he made the conscious decision to work at his own pace and on his own terms after we began the project. On several occasions, he complained about "not making any money on this project." I believe that he was upset with himself for quoting a price that was too low and thus decided that the project was not worth his full level of attention and professionalism. From my point of view, though, an agreement is an agreement. Since we mutually agreed on a price and a timeline, he should have honored the agreement and provided a higher level of responsiveness and professionalism.
I would not hire Paul again or recommend him to others.

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

Plumbing installation costs in renovations typically range from $300 to $1,500 or more, depending on the complexity and specifics of the project.

Yes, you can remove an undermount sink from granite countertops. However, it’s safest to hire a granite pro to take on this job. Your pro might have to make cuts and grind the granite to remove the sink. Plus, if you’re replacing your sink with a larger one, you’ll need your pro to enlarge the existing sink cutout in your granite.

Emergency plumbers charge a significantly higher rate than for standard service, typically 1.5 to 3 times the normal hourly cost. You can expect to pay between $100 and $500 per hour, with an average of around $200 per hour. In addition to the higher hourly rate, many plumbers charge a flat emergency service or trip fee, which can be between $150 and $300. The final cost depends on the timing of the call; prices are highest for major holidays, followed by weekends and after-hours service on weekdays. For a complex job on a major holiday, a master plumber's rate could reach as high as $600 per hour.

If you need to repair part of your plumbing, it will cost an average of $330. The cost of plumbing repairs is influenced by several factors, including the type of drain and the specific repair needed.

The best place for a kitchen sink drain is the middle of the sink. Most people prefer center drains because they allow for better water and waste drainage, and the center location limits splashing because water flows straight down the drain hole. If the sink drain is too close to the edge of the sink, water can collect and drain too slowly. It can also be easier to clean sinks when the drain is closer to the center since debris is easier to wash down and doesn’t collect along the sides as easily.
