"Huft Home Services replaced my regular HVAC company when the owners retired. Comfort Master had installed my system in 1995 so we had a 25-year personal relationship. Ed and Donna were still using hardcopy records. When I called Huft on May 12 and talked with Elizabeth, we were able to confirm and establish the status of my ongoing services. We discussed the 2 different areas of work needed, HVAC regular maintenance and an urgent plumbing service for a leaking irrigation valve system. We scheduled the irrigation repair quickly, but I was very disappointed to discover that the repair person was unable to do that work and found out that Huft actually did not work on irrigation. Fortunately I was able to find a provider who came out the next day and did exceptional work – I highly recommend Authentic Landscape/Salvador Gallardo for that work. However, rather than make a complaint, I figured I'd wait to see how the HVAC service went. That appointment was scheduled for a couple weeks later. Anthony was fantastic. He called to let me know he was running late from his previous job. Maybe it was just because I wasn't up on current services, but I am highly impressed that he was able to take many photos of my system and his work – and instantly email them and my invoice to me! He went over in great detail the status of the equipment and anticipation of potential repairs needed over time along with likely cost estimates. We also discussed possible replacements for when I decided I was ready for a new unit. I will certainly continue my maintenance with Huft, and not just because I'm prepaid for a couple more years of biannual services."

"The tankless water heater in the hotel we manage went down on July 3 2024. We have a wedding party coming in on July 5. All the plumbers near us either don't service our town or were not working because of the Holiday. Our small town of LaPorte does not have a population big enough to support a full time plumber. We eventually found our way to Angie's List and Plumb Crazy Plumbing responded. Vincent agreed to come to our town from Magalia 72 miles away...normally. There was a fire burning in Oroville that was blocking the shortest path. The new route added another 15 miles to the trip. Vincent arrived at 7PM and worked diligently until 10PM. Vincent returned on July 4th, yes on a holiday, and completed the Job. Vincent's work is clean and he took the time to explain about the new tankless water heater and answered our question. "Chris reached out to me the same day and was able to fit me in the very next afternoon. Coordinating with him to do this job was easy and efficient. He really seemed to know what he was doing. He gave a very reasonable quote for septic pumping. Even though the job ended up involving more than originally thought, he only asked for a small increase to cover the additional dumping fee he had to pay out of pocket. I was more than happy to pay it and even chose to pay him a little extra because he was so generous and prompt. He also shared useful information/tips. I will definitely use his services in the future. Wish every service company was this good and pleasant to deal with!"

"I hired Neli over a week period for 3 different appliances, my dryer, washing machine, dishwasher, and even kitchen sink! I had a fantastic experience: 1. I fixed my dryer with Thomas' excellent remote guidance, changing the timer and the switch! Fabulous guidance Thomas, with lots of money saved! I learned a lot in the process. 2. I determined that there was no dishwasher leak and in the process learned how to check for leaks and trouble shoot for some common repair issues. It cost $40.00 but as I had some water on the floor, I was ready to get a new dishwasher. Now, I am confident that it wasn't a leak and caused by putting in the dishes in a funny manner and not a repair issue. I am using the dishwasher now again with no problem. 3. I determined with Thomas' help that the washing machine had a major problem and could have spun out of control into my wall....no question, it was time to get a new washing machine! This was a well spent $40.00--I even got Thomas advice on purchasing a new washing machine and what to look for. 4. I checked the drainage on my kitchen sink and learned how to empty out the "trap" and that most likely, I am okay, but what to swap out if I have continuing issues with slow drainage. In the end, I saved lots of money, gaining and learning valuable experience! Absolutely fabulous service!"

"Ariyana Borge and Aiden Ferris came to our house measured the shower in both bathrooms and we told them what we wanted done to the bathrooms, they showed us the products that we can choose from and then asked us what designs we wanted we chose from those and then they ran some numbers, gave us a quote. We liked how inviting they were and how friendly they were an answered all of our questions with no hesitation as to figure out how to answer that question they know their stuff and I highly recommend them to come out and give you a quote of your own."
