Please verify credentials of anyone working on your project is fully licensed with the Contractors State License Board, provide their legal name (not an alias), &amp;amp; operate from a legitimate business address rather than a P.O. box. Avoid contractors who rely on subcontractors, as they may attempt to shift blame. Never take loan or financing advice from them. Insist on written contracts &amp;amp; keep detailed email records of all communications &amp;amp; agreements. Make sure they comply with state &amp;amp; federal laws, especially asbestos.
