"Daniel Rinsch at Bank Right Appraisal is very knowledgeable, easy to speak with (courteous) and provided a very competitive price. He clearly explained the process, which was performed seamlessly and resulted in a fair and accurate valuation of my property. The appraisal report was delivered on time and is comprehensive and easy to understand. Dan was gracious with his time in discussing the report with me. The customer service exceeded my expectations. "I brought in two handmade silk rugs to get cleaned. These are very valuable and I wanted to make sure they are treated with a lot of care. One had a very bad pet odor from urine and the other was pretty dirty from just foot trafficking, I took both of these rugs into LA rug cleaning and I spoke with Kash. He told me the steps they will take to clean my rug.
After a few moments talking to him I signed the paper and paid right then and there. The company seems really confident in what they do, I even saw them washing a few rugs and that made me feel a lot better.
I got my rugs back in about 2 weeks and they look fabulous! They look basically brand new, almost better than when i first bought them. The pet odor is completely gone and that surprised since i took it to another cleaner before and they couldn't get the smell out.
I have also tried their stain guard that they recommended and it works really well especially if you have pets.
If you have questions ask them cause I had a bunch and wanted to make sure I'm getting my money worth and I really felt like I did and they are so professional that i feel comfortable coming back and recommending them to others.

Antiques and Jewelry Appraisals questions, answered by experts

Yes, home appraisers look at your windows when appraising your property to determine the market value of your home. They’ll factor in the type of windows, quality, condition, whether or not there are screens covering the windows, frame materials, size, insulation, and more to come up with an unbiased property assessment.

Wainscoting isn’t a design element that can be directly tied to an increased house price. Despite that, it is a highly marketable element that can generate significant interest from potential buyers who enjoy the style, and is relatively inexpensive to remove for those who don’t. If you are on the fence about paneling, just know that it certainly wouldn’t result in depreciation of your home’s value—usually the opposite.

In most cases, you can expect home automation to boost your home value. This technology makes the homeowner’s life easier and more comfortable, and some provide increased safety and protection. Buyers will likely recognize value in security systems and utility monitors, as well as comfort-focused upgrades that save on electric bills while keeping interior rooms at the desired temperature and humidity. On average, you can expect a 50% and 75% return on investment on home automation services, and potentially even more if the automation reduces homeowner’s insurance.

In most cases, installing a tennis court on your property will drive up your property taxes. Property taxes are determined, in part, based on improvements made to your property, which includes anything with a permanent foundation. Since most home tennis courts include a large concrete foundation, your property taxes will likely increase following the installation. A general rule of thumb is that if your project requires permits—like for a foundation or fencing for a tennis court—then your property taxes will be affected.

In short, yes, a pond can add to your home’s value. However, whether it adds value will depend on the condition and aesthetic of your pond. Having this feature already built into a yard’s home can be appealing to homebuyers who value its aesthetic and would prefer not to build it themselves. But if it is not kept in good condition, it could turn buyers away.
