"Our remodeled kitchen exceeded all expectations. Leoni’s eye for design brought our ideas to life, creating an open and functional layout perfect for entertaining. The team’s craftsmanship was top-notch, and they respected our home, leaving it clean each day. The project was finished on time and within budget, and our kitchen now feels like a welcoming and sophisticated part of our home. "Armando is very professional, and I almost did not hire him because of a previous review he had on his feedback. Therefore, I received another quote from a higher rated area contractor who also stated prices were better. The other company failed to show up as scheduled, but arrived the following day and his prices were higher than Armandos quote. He did a fantastic job, price was fair, and was promt. He is trust worthy too, I had to run to my daughters college, 3.5 hours later, I arrived back at home..everything was perfectly installed, other items working in tip-top shape. He is respectful, and he is picks up after himself (and some of my extra dog hair too). Armando is my new, go to handyman. I am sure you will find him great.. He serves the Pleasanton area toom"

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

Recessed lights, as with any kind of light, can be a fire hazard if not installed correctly. Because of this, it’s best to have a professional complete the installation for you. Properly installed lights should not pose a threat and often have heat sensors installed in them that turn the light off if the temperature gets too high.

Generally, an oil furnace is considered safer than a gas furnace for several reasons. While both types of furnaces can produce carbon monoxide, a leak in an oil furnace is easier to detect due to the smell. Oil furnaces also don't connect to a gas pipeline, which reduces the chance of a fuel leak. Most importantly, heating oil is not combustible, whereas natural gas is highly flammable. This means there is a much lower risk of combustion or explosion with an oil furnace. However, an oil furnace can still pose a fire hazard if it tips over.

Whether or not your attic ladder needs to be fire-rated depends on your local building codes, so it’s best to check with your municipal office. However, if your ceiling meets a fire requirement, your attic ladder should as well. There are benefits of opting for a fire-rated ladder. For one, thanks to their fire-resistant material, they'll help protect your home from fire spreading from your attic, if one should break out.

After a house fire, you should not reenter your home unless the fire crew has told you it’s safe to do so. In the longer term, you should not attempt to make repairs to the house on your own. Professional crews are trained to clean up after a fire (including smoke and soot damage), dry out any water damage from the firefighter crews, and make the necessary structural, plumbing, and electrical repairs—and this is all likely covered by insurance.

Electrical fires are unique from other fire types because they have the potential to deliver electric shocks in addition to being on fire. Avoid serious injury from possible electrical emergency situations by avoiding the use of water, foam-based fire extinguishers, wet-chemical fire extinguishers,  flour, or baking powder to put out an electrical fire.
