"It took a couple months to get an appointment because I called right after the major rain and wind storm we had in January 2016. So of course I had a leaking roof like most of San Diego county did. Then the day the roof was to be repaired in March, it rained that morning. So it had to be rescheduled again. Let me start from the beginning. I had water leaking in through the roof and in through the dining room window. Out of all the other roofers I called Roof RX seem to target the problem area quickly and reassured me that they would find and fix the source of the leak. Matt took what I call "preop" photos and then had the office contact me with the size of the area they would need to work and also the estimate, of which I received several discounts, including the Angie's list discount! When the day finally arrived, the crew of 3, which included Matt, arrived on time and began the repair process promptly. With 2 men working and one running the supplies and supervising, the total job took 2 5 hours. I was shown before repair (photos showing the source of the leak) and during repair and after repair photos that were sent to me via email. I was very pleased with speed of the work but also the attention to detail to what they were doing. They were very clean and neat and professional. No debris was left behind. One of the young men even took a can of spray paint I had and touched up my flashing and the little vent pipes for me when I asked him. Matt listened to my concerns about whether they could fix my roof where no one else could figure it out or even want to try. All I can say is Matt has a calming confidence about him that was worth more to me than you could imagine. And, I hope he knows that from reading this! So far there were no more leaks with the last few rains we had. Thank you Roof Rx."

"Albert was a pleasure to work with. His price was not quite the lowest of the bids, but it was close, and it was clear he's been in business a long time. He submitted a thorough bid, showed he had all the right insurance and permit forms, met with us and answered all our questions. Albert's team took 2 1/2 days to do the whole job. During that time I was home, and while the job was loud, they worked hard and fast and professionally. Since I was home and listening to music on my satellite dish, they left the dish up until the last possible minute, and I had music and TV the first two days. The job they did was superb! The roof looks great, and it seems like I have a new house. There were several small followup issues, and Hymie came out the next week to take care of them. I was very particular about the issues, but Hymie stayed until everything was done to my satisfaction. My only concern was that I was billed for about $900 extra for wood that had to be replaced. While I was home for 2 days I didn't see them replacing any wood, and Albert didn't have any documentation to substantiate the replaced wood. He told me he was going to purchase a camera so he could document such work for future customers. If you are reading this you should expect him to offer you camera shots of any replaced materials. Shortly after the work was done, the first rain of the season showed a leak in a part of the roof that wasn't part of the job. As part of Hymie's followup, he fixed this leak, tested it with a hose, and Albert charged me a small amount for parts and labor."
