"Joe has cleaned, polished and sealed our Italian travertine floors in our house for the past 5 years. He does an amazing job, our floors always look wonderful, and Joe is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. He's always on-time and keeps to the budget, which is quite reasonable. We tried several companies before we found MarbleCare of San Diego, and none came close to the level of service and beautiful job done by Joe. I can't recommend him high enough. You. won't be disappointed."

Hi have been working for General Contractors and Homeowners for the last 30 years! Mostly re-models and new construction! I would normally do pre-paint and final construction clean ups! \nI like to do the fine detailed work that a lot of people skip over for all those final finishing touches!\nI paint, do caulking, give cabinets a new look, do door jams and walls! Also floors and appliances!\n As I am getting older what I’m really looking for are the vacation rentals.\nI am a people pleaser and love to see people happy with my work which they always are!\nI take my work very seriously and am good at trouble shooting and solving simple problems on site! I have worked all over the Coachella Valley and am willing to go up to 40 miles away. Have gone as far as Hemet and Big Bear! Prefer lower desert but will go to high desert if worth while!\nI also have built swimming pools and use to do a lot of concrete staining and polishing!

"I would not use any other carpet cleaning company. They are extremely thorough, professional and polite. The carpet was thoroughly vacuumed even along the baseboards, then traffic areas were spot treated, prior to the cleaning and deodorizing. I have pets coming in an out and the job that they did, make my carpets look good as new. Strongly recommend this company."

"I have never seen anyone work as hard. Erique did the most outstanding job ever, his pride in his work and wanting to please people was amazing. He called beforehand to say he was running a little late. He?s got terrific social skills, terrific ambition, and I received the greatest carpet cleaning job I?ve ever received. I would definitely recommend them and would encourage people ask for him. The price was a little higher than most places but you definitely get what you pay for."

"The cleaning solution splashed everywhere onto the stainless steel refrigerator, cabinets, and the water station. The refrigerator is forever ruined after many attempts to clean it with different professional stainless steel solutions. He even used the kitchen sink to dump the soil water and possibly clean the cleaning equipment. The tile floor looks whiter but we pay a hefty price for that. Angie's List: please advise."

"They responded quickly to my order and scheduled an appointment during a convenient Saturday time. The service person called before the scheduled time to let me know he was running a little late. He was at my place soon after the call.
He was very experienced and efficiently determined the best course of action based on the deal I had purchased. I was offered some add-on services in a non-pushy way. I agreed to use a product that would help clean a few areas with bad stains. The deal was a prepaid $69 and the stain cleaner was $34. He let me know that the areas with bad stains might not be completely cleaned even with the stain cleaner.
The carpet looked fantastic after the cleaning and he helped me move a few pieces of furniture back to their proper place.
A few hours after the cleaning it still looked great but just as he told me the bad spots were still noticeable but greatly improved.

"Ronnie and his crew were very responsive to our needs to have an extremely thorough cleaning to meet the high standards required for this luxury condo. Ronnie personally supervised the job and did the steam cleaning himself. The new tenant sent me this text "I just want to let you know the cleaners did an amazing job". We own several homes and condos in the Carlsbad/Encinitas area and would gladly call them again for move-out cleaning and recommend them for regular cleaning to our tenants."

Floor Cleaning and Waxing questions, answered by experts

While it is not recommended, you can mix Bon Ami with vinegar for a more powerful cleaning mixture. However, you should avoid mixing other types of powder cleaners, such as Comet and Ajax, with vinegar or with each other, as the reaction often creates a toxic gas that’s dangerous to the human body.

Most experts agree that the best thing with which to clean epoxy floors is a diluted mixture of ammonia and warm water. You can also use mild dish soap diluted with warm water or a degreaser (such as Simple Green or Goof Off) diluted with warm water. Some soap-based cleaners can leave a haze. If you notice this, further dilute the mixture with water or use a different detergent that does not leave a film. You should never use harsh cleaning chemicals, any type of acidic compound (such as vinegar or citrus-based cleansers), or harsh scrubbers like steel wool or hard bristle brushes.

You can use dish soap mixed with warm water to clean just about any type of flooring, and while vinegar is a great addition to some floor cleaners, it’s not a good idea to use it on wood flooring or engineered wood flooring. Vinegar is very acidic, and it can gradually eat away at the protective finish on wood floors. If you’re cleaning laminate, tile, concrete, or vinyl floors, feel free to use vinegar and water in a 1-to-1 ratio with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, substitute the vinegar for olive oil.

Most DIY floor cleaners don’t require rinsing, but you’ll want to make sure you don’t add too much dish soap or oil to the cleaner to avoid having to rinse it after cleaning. For non-wood floors, mix 8 parts warm water, 1 part vinegar, and 1 part baking soda with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, use olive oil in that same mixture instead of the vinegar. You can let these solutions air-dry after cleaning your floors with them, although you should manually dry your floors if they aren’t waterproof.

To properly maintain and care for hardwood floors without damaging the finish, establish a regular cleaning routine. Sweep with a broom or microfiber dust mop daily, or vacuum weekly, to remove dirt and debris that can scratch the surface; be sure to clean in tight corners and under furniture. For a deeper clean, use a damp mop with a cleaner specifically designed for hardwood floors, but avoid using harsh chemicals or excessive water, as this can damage the wood. You can further protect your floors by placing mats at entryways to catch dirt and moisture and putting felt pads under furniture legs to prevent scratches. For long-term care, refinish the floors as needed to keep them looking their best.
