"We did a small project with them to install wiring for a new ceiling fan. They were quick and did a great job. I appreciated that they tried to remove as little amount of sheet rock as they could to limit the amount of mess that was made. Overall great job,. Would hire again"

"Pete and his crew did an excellent job.  They installed the panels in record time and for a great price.  I was very happy with the job they did, and felt very comfortable that I could trust their work.
My panels have been working great now for almost a year and I couldn't be happier.  Inspector had no corrections and approved the work without any issues.   Pete and his guys have done work for me in the past, and I would definitely recommend him to others.  I've always been very happy with their work, and Pete is great to work with.

"The provided installed two skylights, scraped and retextured the ceilings, made the attic easily accessible with a pull drop-down ladder, installed a fan in the roof of the attic to keep the attic cool (the fan kicks on at 80 degrees), repainted the interior, made wall repairs, and installed new bathroom fixtures. The workers were professional, friendly and usually prompt. Called when they were running late or needed to reschedule."

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

Your bathroom exhaust fan shouldn't be loud. However, bath fans come in a wide variety of models, price points, and loudness characteristics, and yours may be louder or quieter than others you notice. Economy models tend to be the noisiest, with levels of 4.0 sones or more, which is about the sound of an electric shaver, while some high-end models can be barely audible.

Keeping dust off fans can keep them working optimally and help keep dust mites or bacteria from building up. Dust fans weekly with a duster, microfiber cloth, old pillowcase, or vacuum attachment. You can also try spraying a clean fan with a store-bought dust-repellent product or making a DIY dust-repellent with water and a small amount of liquid fabric softener mixed in.

Selecting the right size wood stove fan depends on the size of your stove and the room it heats. Larger stoves or rooms may benefit from fans with larger or multiple blades, as these can move more air efficiently. Consider the fan's specifications and airflow capacity to match it with your stove's heat output for optimal performance.

Depending on the thickness of the carpet, it can take anywhere from 4 to 12 hours for carpet to dry with a fan. The humidity and temperature of the room also play a role in drying time, as added moisture in the air can result in longer drying time.

While it may seem like it makes sense to put a fan in the attic to cool it down, it won’t be as effective as installing attic fans. Ventilation installed near the peak of the roof, whether passive (just allowing heat to escape) or active (drawing the air up and out) will be more effective at cooling the attic.
