"Outlet sparking. Edison advised to get an electrician immediately. Brian at V-Tech Electric was the first that responded and promised to not leave me in the dark for another night, even tho he was currently working out of the area. He fulfilled his promise and had the issue resolved within 15 minutes of his arrival. His price was more than reasonable, particularly for "overtime" service. I am planning on having all of my outlets updated and V-Tech will do the job. Refreshing to find an pleasant, competent and honest contractor."

"I contacted Angi for a recommendation on some electrical work and got a quick reply from Tim Henson's Unique Lighting. Tim was nice and said he'd send a guy the next morning. Jay came and verbally explained what he'd do and we worked out a fair price of $3500. He insisted the payment had to be cash, and asked for a $1500 deposit, with $2000 to be paid at the completion of the job. The job was to take two days. I agreed and went to the bank, made a withdrawal and gave him $1500. We never got a receipt, there was never a written estimate, or the usual invoice with a description of the labor and materials. It seemed shady and unprofessional. I was leaving for a trip and gave my wife an envelope with $2300 and explained that there is a balance of $2000 to be paid when they finish. The next day there were several different contractors working at the house. There was confusion and by mistake my wife gave Jay the envelope with $2300. When I returned from my trip a few days later, I called Tim and explained the mistake. He refused to return the extra $300. I am not asking for any resolution or my money back. I think this company is unprofessional and dishonest and would like to give a review showing that I am very unsatisfied with this contractor, and would never use them again."

"It went well enough. Not fully satisfied with all plants or groundcover choices but went with both; my fault. Absolutely no follow-up, excuses of too busy, will stop by later; never happened. Have texted them but not alot; don't want to be a nag. Guarantee follow-up with replacements and/or removal, etc., for a year from $initialization. This has not happened. Nice guys but need to follow-up."

Mr. Dove didn't do the work.  It was two of his employees or subcontractors.  The installation of the wiring, ceiling fan and ceiling light went fine, but the drywall repair wasn't that good.  The texture they sprayed on the walls didn't even remotely match the existing wall texture, so their patch job was obvious.  Also, they didn't reconnect something in one of the outlets so only the top socket worked.  When I notified Mr. Dove, he came out the next day to fix it.  I was impressed by Mr. Dove's professionalism, and would hire him again provided he did the work.
