We are happy with the whole process of initiating the project, arranging the service and the service itself. Very fast response from the office clerk and the owner. The two year warranty provided by the company gave us a piece of mind. The job was done in less than the week. If the nice painting sustains over the years to come as promised by the owner, we could certainly hire them back for other painting and roof needs.

"For the past three years, Kevin has been an absolute star in helping us maintain and improve our home and property. From setting up and taking down outside holiday decorations that make our home shine every season to installing handicap railing in our garage with precision and care, Kevin consistently goes above and beyond. No job is too small—whether it's repairs or upgrades around the house, he handles each task with professionalism and a keen eye for detail. Kevin is reliable, prompt, and always pleasant to work with. His dedication and expertise make him the best handyman we've ever hired, and we couldn’t be happier with the quality of his work. Highly recommend him for anyone needing a trustworthy, skilled handyman!"

"I bought the Big Deal which was just for a single top coat to reseal the deck surface.  However, my deck was in a little bit worse shape than the deal allowed.  However, Ryan was awesome and added in sanding and then did the reseal for no additional charge.  The surface is not perfect but that is due to the rough pre-condition it was in and not his fault.  Shortly after the reseal the deck drains started leaking in to the garage below.  Ryan and crew came out again to fix the drain at no additional cost.  Again, this was not in the deal I bought but they provide such great customer service.  I would definitely use them again and will recommend them to friends and neighbors!

"Arrived promptly, totally competent and professional, even went above and beyond and used the minutes otherwise remaining in the hour to clean out the holes in the gas burners on the stove that he repaired. Great job, reasonable price."

"I had used them before for my own house, but  not sure if they could drive all the way to Anaheim to fix my parent's driveway. They had no issue assigning a team to their place, after the work they did, I already knew a good job was expected. I gave the options to my parents, and they liked the ideas I pitched them. They did a simple driveway, nicely done and was stamped concrete."

"Mark and Wade were great to work with on the project.  We worked out the contract about 30 days prior to start of construction.  Mark was very amenable to some minor revisions I requested.  Mark did a great job of setting out the scope of work in a clear and concise way.  Work started as scheduled and finished in four days, although they did not work a full 8 hours each day.  The work days were comfortable generally starting on site around 9:00a and finishing up at 5:00p.  There were a few short understandable interruptions in work.  They cleaned up everyday and responded well to our request for additional flooring protection along their path of travel in the house.  Mark was very responsive to our questions and concerns and provided some valuable insight related to possible future projects.
We were very pleased with the result."

Deck Cleaning questions, answered by experts

The best way to clean your decking is to clear debris from the gaps between the boards, sweep the surface, rinse it, apply cleaner, rinse again, and let it dry fully. A homemade deck cleaner made of two gallons of warm water and 1/2 cup vinegar is a simple cleaning solution for both wood and composite decking. You can sprinkle baking soda on any spots with mold or mildew, then scrub the area and rinse clean.

Before installing any materials under the deck for removing moisture, you should perform some prep work on the ground. Work the dirt under the deck to create a grade away from the home. A grade of at least six inches for every 10 feet works well. Do not leave a gap between the dirt and the home’s foundation where water could pool. Once you or a contractor regrades the dirt under the deck, you then can add materials over the top.

Covering your deck with a breathable tarp can protect it from snow, ice, and cold winter temperatures. This is a good winterizing solution if you don’t plan to use your deck at all during the colder months. However, it might be best to skip the tarp if you’ll still be walking on your deck or using it in a limited capacity.

Composite decking requires a solid foundation or substructure for support. This base is typically a frame composed of posts, beams, joists, and footings. The frame can be built from various materials, such as composite, plastic, timber, or metal, depending on your budget, deck type, and environmental conditions. For maximum stability, a professional deck builder may recommend installing this frame on top of a solid concrete base. It is best to discuss the most suitable substructure design and materials for your specific project with a professional.

Yes, it is possible to add an under-deck drainage system to an existing deck by retrofitting it to the structure. This process may require some prep work. For example, many drainage systems are installed on top of the deck joists, which would require you to remove the decking boards and railings first. To avoid this, you could opt for a below-the-joist drainage system. For best results and to ensure proper installation, it is recommended to consult a professional. A pro can inspect your deck, make any necessary repairs, and then install the drainage system correctly.
