We are a licensed, insured and bonded California based, locally owned company, specializing in air duct cleaning, chimney sweep and dryer vent cleaning for both residential and commercial properties. Our technicians are experienced and professional. We offer competitive pricing. We are offering free inspection of your dryer vent and chimney in neighborhood area to prevent this kind of fire.

"CHIMNEY WAS CLEANED AND INSPECTED. SERVICEMAN SHOWED UP LATE. PERFORMED ABOVE SERVICE AND RELATED WE NEEDED REPAIR WORK BUT NO INFO WAS LEFT. WHEN I CALLED THE OFFICE FOR INFO ON THE REPAIR AND ASKED FOR AN INVOICE THE INVOICE STATED ALL WAS OK. NO RESPONSE WHEN I ASKED FOR THE COMPANY TO CHECK WITH THEIR SERVICEMAN REGARDING THE CONDITION OF THE CHIMNEY. WOULD NOT REHIRE THIS COMPANY"

Classic Copper Works uses time honored German copper smith techniques handed down from father to son and passed on to our highly skilled artisans. We specialize in the fabrication of custom copper & bronze products and other metal specialties. WE DO NOT OFFER REPAIR SERVICES OF ANY KIND. Additional phone number - (888) 908-5339.

"Ordered and paid for custom awning that was to take 5 weeks. Its now been 16 weeks and still waiting. Owner is at best noncommunicable and at worst, rude. I'm now wondering if this is a scam and not a real business."

Chimney Caps questions, answered by experts

Yes, a tin or metal roof increases home value. Homeowners can expect a return on investment (ROI) of $3–$8.40 per square foot after installing a tin roof. You’ll see a higher ROI in environments where a tin roof is crucial.

Whether you should choose a flat roof or a sloped roof depends on your particular situation. Flat roofs tend to be less expensive to install. However, sloped roofs have longer lifespans and stand up better to heavy snow and other inclement weather.

Keep in mind that even a flat roof needs to have a slight slope, usually around 1/2 inch for every foot. If it is completely flat, water will pool and cause damage, either from weight or leakage or rot.

The exact weight of a bundle of shingles depends on the shingle type, manufacturer, and other factors. It can weigh anywhere between 45 and 800 pounds.

Roofers most often use nails to fasten roofing shingles and other roofing materials. Nails have more holding power than staples and offer better weather resistance and longevity. However, it is possible to use staples instead of nails when installing a roof. Staples are less expensive, but not as high-quality.

This will depend on your existing roof to some degree but it’s common to raise a roof 4 to 8 feet. The exact amount you can raise is subject to the existing structure and for most homes with average roof slopes—20 to 45 degrees—you can raise the roof around 5 feet.
