You would want a licensed plumbing company that is: quick to respond, has a free estimate, comes out on a Saturday, knowledgeable, on-time, efficient, quality work, courteous, and above all else,...integrity. Jason and his team at J I G Plumbing are all that! We were given an initial estimate, but as the trenching started, he informed us that the repair would not be as extensive as previously thought. "The cost reflects an Angie's Big Deal of $79.50 worth of service for $49.00 which the lady with whom I made the appointment suggested I purchase, saving $30.50. Last year, I got an A/C tune up from a different company with an Angie's coupon for $48.00. This year's tune up cost more, but was worth it because it was more thorough. Alan took electrical readings at various points on both the unit in the garage and the outdoor unit. He changed the filter. He measured the temperature of the air coming out of the registers. He measured the amount of freon in the system and cleaned the fins on the outdoor unit with a nozzle on a garden hose. I was happy with the quality of the work for both the A/C and the plumbing. He made an effort to work as cleanly as possible.
He was easy to talk to. I suspect I saved money by getting both A/C work and plumbing work done at the same time as opposed to paying for two service calls. I thought the overall cost was very reasonable.
