"Having managed dozens of renovations over the years, both commercial and residential, I can say that Joe Messineo is the best contractor I have ever hired, in any craft. No minor distinction. A 3rd generation master stone mason, Joe is an old school modern craftsman who produces quality builds. I engaged him to demolish and rebuild virtually all of the hardscape at my home---driveway, side walkways, French drain, brick patio inserts, and over 150 feet of retaining walls. A 7-week job, with more than a few moving parts. Joe’s team, Enrique and Claudio, worked like stunt men in a choreographed manner, carefully removing thousands of pounds of old concrete and cinder blocks, positioning rebar and framing the sites for cement. The worksite was clean and orderly at the end of each day. Then, 2 generations of Messineo---Joe, with a guest appearance by his father, built a complex series of retaining walls and brick inserts, that will clearly last decades longer than the original work from 1959. Every line dead-level, every elevation plumb, and every surface finished perfectly. The concrete team that completed the job with 2 truckloads of wet mix, delivered flawless slabs of new surface. Their overall level of craftsmanship and professionalism is not often to be seen these days, and it deserves recognition when it arrives."

They built an amazing water feature, added some grass to a space that was formerly concrete slab, completely changed our front yard from a lawn that was all weeds to a beautiful garden, built a stone wall in front of aforementioned garden, converted our sprinklers to drip irrigation, and added some lighting. From Andrew the designer to Chad, Jorge, and Daniel the supervisors to all the workers, everyone at this company is top notch. They got the job done super quickly, and were as professional as can be.
