"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

"The technician did an excellent job. It did take a while to get the repair finished, but that was due to Bertazzoni delivering the parts. I have had multiple problems with this particular appliance. My range now works better than it did when new, but I have a feeling that even if I have continuing problems with it, American Home Shield will just repair rather than replace due to the cost of the range. By the way, I'm not exactly sure of the date of the repair."

"We couldn?t be happier with our experience working with Trevor at Morgan Ridge Construction. Trevor built our pool house, which was completed in 2025, and the entire process, fro start to finish, wa outstanding. Trevor is incredibly professional, communicative, and detail-oriented. He always responded to emails and texts promptly and never once made us feel like our (many!) questions were a burden. He truly cares about doing things the right way and doesn?t rush through any part of the job. His attention to detail is exceptional?it honestly felt like he was building the project as if it were for his own home. He went above and beyond in every way: keeping the job site clean at all times, maintaining an organized workflow, and being very flexible in working around our schedule. That level of respect and consideration is rare and deeply appreciated. Not only is Trevor extremely skilled at what he does, but he was also a genuine pleasure to work with."

Modular homes are more affordable than stick-built homes if you keep quality and square footage equal. The cost to build a home averages $323,000, while average modular home prices sit at {AvgCost}. If you’re looking for custom or luxury options, a traditional custom home costs $825,000, while a high-end modular home costs $600,000, on average.

Construction typically takes 3-6 months, including site preparation and assembly.

To get a quote from a builder or general contractor, contact them over the phone or online and explain your project. If you already have house plans drawn up, they’ll need to review them to determine the project's scope before providing you with a quote. Ask for your quote in writing and compare quotes from several pros before choosing the best one for your needs.

A construction-to-permanent loan is the most common type of mortgage used to finance a house teardown and rebuild. These loans include financing for construction costs and convert to a long-term mortgage once construction is complete. Check the terms of the loan closely before beginning work—there are often restrictions requiring you to use licensed contractors for all work.

A green home is one that focuses on conservation, with the goal often being net-zero carbon emissions and self-sustainability. It will often include some kind of self-generation equipment, like solar panels or a small wind turbine, high-efficiency electrical components and mechanicals, and high-quality insulation and air sealing to reduce the loss of conditioned air. Many green homes also include xeriscaping or rainwater collection to cut down on drainage and water consumption.
