"Conrad and his team at Del Mar Landscaping are great. His guys are very respectful and do excellent work at a fair price. They made sure they finished the job during a very uncertain time (Coronavirus pandemic), which is much appreciated and also made sure they cleaned up everything when they were done. Second time I've used them. Highly recommended."

"Victor was quick to come out and give me an estimate. He quickly understood the complexity of my project and gave me a good price on a solution. A couple of days later, he and his worker came out and finished the job in one day. He cut out and removed part of a concrete wall that was falling because of tree roots. He replaced it with a great looking fence. The area was cleaned up, and everything is in great order."

"The job started on a Saturday and the contractor wasn't present, just two workers and a lead.  That day's work was to apply the first, brown coat.  I couldn't get a question answered by the lead worker on the job and tried to telephone the contractor.  He did not respond to the message I left and, instead, telephoned the lead worker and sent him to me to answer the question.  I noticed that weep holes in one section had been plastered over and pointed it out to the lead worker.  He said they just hadn't gotten to it yet and soon they were opened.  What I didn't notice was that they weren't opened in another section.
The final coat was applied next Saturday, one week later, by the same crew.  The workers left without speaking to me and I discovered the unopened weep holes in the second section.  I tried reaching the contractor by phone but could only leave a message.   The contractor and the lead worker showed up at the site a day later, with no advance notice, at about an hour after sundown.  The contractor ended up getting a flashlight to look at the work (darkness had descended) and first alleged that weep holes weren't in the original wall anywhere and then tried to say the ones that were opened were in the footing, not the wall.  They left saying they would return when light was better to continue finding out what happened.  I printed what pictures I had of the wall to prove my point.  The lead worker showed up the next day demanding the final payment. I showed him the pictures and he flatly denied that what I said were weep holes were, in fact, weep holes.  He  insisted that they were merely broken mortar.  i decided to just make the final payment  and re-drill the weep holes myself. I wanted no more to do with this contractor,.  Except for the weep hole issue, the stucco work was well done.
Since conflict resolution is important to me, I will never use this contractor again nor recommend him to others.
This review has been written by my husband who was the one involved with the contractor.

"

We didn't satisfy his initial service (which I believe was just an accident nothing to do with their quality of service), and contact them again and receive immediate positive response to come back to do the service again.  FIVE STAR service !!! Highly recommended. Reasonable price for the additional sq ft.  We have hired multiple people for different types of service needs for the new house that we just recently move in.  None of them can top Concrete & marble Transformerz's service.

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

The polyurethane used for polyjacking will expand and cure in 15 to 30 minutes. After that point, your slab will be safe to walk on and even drive on in the case of a sidewalk or concrete driveway. Double-check with your concrete lifting specialist to confirm a curing timeline, as products can differ.

There is no real alternative to underpinning, although mudjacking and polyjacking are other repair methods that can add support from underneath your foundation. Rather than placing supportive piers under your structure, these involve pumping a material under your slab to lift a sunken section back into its original position. Polyjacking, in particular, is sometimes a suitable solution for stabilization issues under slab foundations, but underpinning is often accepted as the best and most permanent solution.

The average cost for mudjacking is around $1,200, though prices can range from $300 to $3,400. On a per-square-foot basis, you can expect to pay between $3 and $8, with an average of about $5 per square foot. The final cost depends on several factors, including the square footage of the concrete, the type of slab, its accessibility, whether it is load-bearing, and the type of material used to lift it. Generally, lifting a driveway, small patio, or sidewalk is less expensive than lifting a slab foundation or garage floor.

Concrete leveling can last anywhere from five to 10 years or more, and in some cases, it can be a permanent solution. The longevity depends on the method used and whether the underlying cause of the sinking is addressed. For example, mudjacking typically lasts five to 10 years, while polyjacking can last for 20 years or more. It's best to consult a professional for an accurate timeline based on your specific situation and any factors that could cause the issue to recur.

Most projects take 1-3 hours, with immediate usability after completion.
