"Miguel was a consummate professional who saved our roof right before a rain storm. He came out at night to beat the storm and quickly and expertly patched three holes. "• Adam of Cal Electrical called and will be doing a job walk through on Sunday then emailing an invoice. • Provide power to A/C in bedroom • Adam came over and did a walk-through and will send over an estimate today, Monday, 6-6-16 • The estimate came through under $400 so I sent an email to have him come over and get started on the bedroom A/C electrical. • I need to order an A/C unit that will fit the window ASAP, like now. • Just ordered an A/C unit from amazon, it should be here in two days. • Adam will start work on Saturday, June 11, 2016 around 7:00 am. • I added a change-order to have him also install an outside all weather plug in the same location as the inside plug but on the outside. • Adam and Isaiah showed up at 6:45 and waited at the bottom of the driveway until 7:00 to drive up and start work. • Adam and Isaiah will also fill his truck up with the old desk and whatever else they can fit and haul it off for us. • Good customer relations, they respond to questions before, after and during project. They understand what it is you want done the first time around. They will offer ideas on better ways of doing the job so you get a great job and sometimes can cut your cost down. If there is a better/cheaper way to get the job done they will let you know. They finished in about four hours. Very Happy."

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

Determining if mounting a TV on the wall or mounting it on a stand is better boils down to personal preference. TV mounts are an excellent choice for homes that have limited space, unruly dogs, or young children. They also allow you to customize the height and viewing angle more easily. At the same time, mounting a TV on an entertainment center stand offers additional storage space, a place to hide the wires, and fewer holes in the wall. Renters may also have limitations on drilling holes into the wall above certain diameters.

Finding a professional to mount your television to the wall is a little challenging because no licenses exist for this type of work. You could ask friends or neighbors for recommendations. Check out online reviews, too. Typically, though, almost any local handyman can do the work. A local electronics store or the place where you bought the TV may have a recommendation for you. A local framer or drywall installer might do the work for you as well. If you need an outlet installed for the new TV, an electrician may do both items for you.

Mounting a TV can help prevent some damages from occurring, such as water damage. Installing a new flat-screen TV costs between $160 and $375 on average. A local TV mounting contractor can give you the most accurate price for your area and location of the home that you are looking to mount it.

If you don’t have studs in the area where you want to install your TV mount, you may still be able to install a TV mount on drywall. The easiest way to install a mount on drywall is by using drywall anchors—but not just any plastic anchors. Choose molly bolts or toggle anchors, which have a weight capacity of around 50 pounds. For added support, consider pairing drywall anchors with a wall mounting plate. Extra heavy TVs may need to be mounted via the ceiling joists or beams.

Yes, drywall can hold a 50-pound TV. However, when mounting a TV, you’ll either need to attach it to wall studs or use drywall anchors. If you use anchors, make sure to buy a type that can hold at least 50 pounds. Molly bolts, threaded anchors, and toggle bolts are all good options. For extra support, you can also install a wall mounting plate with the anchors.
