We met with several other landscaping companies, but Mike at Lavish Gardens was by far the most professional. The work that Mike’s company and team did was performed as planned and estimated. The process was stress free and the work was completed on schedule. Mike is very attentive and responsive. He was always available for any questions we had and kept us informed every step of the way. Not to mention, he has a wonderful architect who drew our plans beyond what we could have ever imagined for our backyard. The architect was very helpful in recommending specific plants that, as we requested,were low maintenance and also bright and colorful. They also poured concrete, installed lights, a sprinkler and irrigation system, and a moss rock wall. The result is stunning and beautiful and not something you can get from any other landscaper that we’ve seen in the area. Lavish Gardens really knows their stuff. For example, we had a sudden drainage issue on a slope due to the home builder, and Lavish Gardens was able to install a drainage system that immediately solved the problem. We are thrilled how our backyard turned out and would definitely recommend Lavish Gardens

The design is beautiful and the team was very open to our multiple edits and adjustments during the project. We even added front yard lighting near the end of the project and they installed that in the same timeline. Mike provided daily updates to advise us when and what would be done: fantastic. Another great thing about Mike is that his answer is usually "Yes" to whatever idea comes up. Additionally, he will offer advice on whether the owner should pursue the idea, but regardless the answer is still "Yes." We appreciate that balance of willingness, and experienced advice. During delivery of 5 large ceramic pots, Pottery World (not Lavish) broke one. These pots arrive only once per year from overseas. We were very unhappy. Pottery World offered to send another style of pot for us to evaluate. When I told Mike about the mishap, his answer was the best possible: "Don't settle" he said. He went on to say that if his team needed to come back next year to install the fifth pot, they'd do that to make us happy. I was amazed and knew that we chose the best contractor. In the front, she incorporated a dry steam creek, lava rock bed, two DG pathways, accent grass with striking plants and lighting. The back has flagstone stepping stones that lead to a DG landing area, matching flagstone patio area for a couch with fire pit all surrounding a kidney shaped center grass with accent lighting. Owner Michael Cole was wonderful to work with. He texted everyday to let me know what was happening that day. Ivan and his crew were incredible. They were courteous, professional, prompt and clean. Work was done on time and I couldn’t be happier with my yard. 5 stars!! Would highly recommen

- LAVISH GARDENS LANDSCAPEWe met the Lavish Gardens Landscape Design team at the Sacramento Home and Landscape Expo. We were interested in a re-design of our front yard and invited several companies to come bid and give us their ideas. Lavish Gardens was unique in their approach. We first met with owner, Mike Cole. Mike gathered our ideas and offered to have his professional landscape designer Ben come and work with us to design a plan for a fee. The fee was reasonable, we liked the examples Mike shared of his previous work so we agreed. The designer, Ben, was great at gathering our thoughts for the front yard design and incorporating those with his own professional creativity to come up with a design that my wife and I loved. Once we agreed on the plan Mike set a date to start construction. We met with the construction supervisor, Steve. He was very intent on making sure we were happy with every small detail throughout the process including all decisions. The workers were skilled laborers and worked fast. They were extremely professional throughout the process. In addition to their supervisor they were empowered to stop and ask me questions along the way to be sure all aspects were to my liking and also made suggestions to improve some of the details that I appreciated. The job was finished on time and exceeded our expectations.I certainly would recommend Lavish Gardens. This is my third home and I have much experience in dealing with landscape contractors and designers. The business model that Lavish Gardens uses is one for others to take note of. I was thoroughly impressed from beginning to end. They take great pride in their work and truly want you to be happy with the result

Was very professional and went over every aspect and the time frame and even put up with us changing the color and asking alot of questions to understand the project. They came out and replaced our entire pool deck and patio and extended the stamped concrete further into our yard as we had wanted.
