Mr. Dove didn't do the work.  It was two of his employees or subcontractors.  The installation of the wiring, ceiling fan and ceiling light went fine, but the drywall repair wasn't that good.  The texture they sprayed on the walls didn't even remotely match the existing wall texture, so their patch job was obvious.  Also, they didn't reconnect something in one of the outlets so only the top socket worked.  When I notified Mr. Dove, he came out the next day to fix it.  I was impressed by Mr. Dove's professionalism, and would hire him again provided he did the work.

"We wanted to remodel our bathroom a bit (new fixtures, new paint), and because we had hired Tony from Nexxus Remodelling before and knew that he does smaller jobs for his loyal customers, we hired him to do the work. The bathroom looks great and we are very happy with it. Less happily, we showed Tony's right-hand man, Francisco, what we hoped was just a bit of a warped door on the lower-level in our guest house. Francisco was alarmed and called Tony, who came right away. Unfortunately, Francisco was right: It was a major leak coming from the balcony above. We were dismayed and hoped that there might be a different (less painful and costly reason). Tony agreed to open up some of the wall and ceiling so that we could see what was going on. Of course, and as has always been the case with him, he was right. It looked pretty bad. So, Tony and his team tore out the balcony floor, opened up the wall and ceiling downstairs (inside and out) were the water had been coming and replaced everything. Lots of money and time later (they had to come back what seemed like a hundred times to put down yet another layer of waterproofing on the balcony), it is done. They replaced the wood that had rotted, patched and painted the inside walls and ceiling, restuccoed the part of the outside wall they had to open up, and laid new material on the balcony floor, complete with a 7 layer waterproofing. The previous owners had laid down stones, which it turns out are prone to leaking. The floor we now have is much lighter, easier to take care of, and can be repaired if needed. We had the major work finished before the rains started this winter, and we were very glad we did. Everything held up beautifully as expected."
