"Met Mike, had a nice visit on my front porch. I accepted his proposal and his men came to install the insulation. I made a pathway for his men s access, showed them the area to be done. A few hours, they were done. They cleaned up after themselves."

"Miguel and Richard insulated the entire south side wall of my house, including my master bedroom. They were very professional, honest and very clean. They walked me through the process so I knew exactly what I was getting. They had the best prices and used all the left over material in empty spots in my attic. I would recommend them to everyone needing insulation work done. Removal and or install. We have remodeled our entire house and they were the most pleasant to work with. Best of luck fellas, god bless. Kevin"

"They simply did a great job. I had them remove the old insulation, install new batt insulation, and add radiant barrier in my attic. Now my attic and house are a whole lot cooler. It is noticeably cooler in the house. The person who contacted me was Dustin. He was very professional and did a great job explaining things to me and laying out my options. The crew, which included Aldo, Roman, and Aaron were very professional and respectful to the care of our home and performing their job. I would definitely recommend and am willing to rehire them again for possible future projects. Thanks guys."

"Attic construction installed a hybrid of batt insulation and blown in (corners that were hard to install batt in) after cleaning and sanitizing the area. They sealed all potential entry points for rodents. The workers showed up on time in the morning, were friendly, and the 3-man team was well coordinated in completing the tasks, including a post-clean up. They worked all day and the job was completed to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend them, they know what they are doing and all workers having completed a training program at Owens-Corning (which is the only product they use)."

Drywall Insulation questions, answered by experts

In many cases, installing new drywall will boost your home value. Replacing old, damaged, cracked, or wavy drywall is a great way to improve the look and feel of your home, as new drywall installed by a professional shouldn’t have any imperfections. Additionally, removing old drywall means you’ll have open walls, so you can install new insulation and address exposed issues with plumbing and electrical systems running behind the walls. All of these fixes will also add to your home’s value.

You should stagger drywall sheets to help prevent cracking. The joints between drywall sheets are the weak spots, so if you install drywall with seams aligned, you’ll create weak lines that run across the length of the wall and extend from floor to ceiling. But when you stagger drywall, the solid sections of panels will support the joints. This can prevent seams from cracking or separating due to fluctuating temperature and humidity, vibrations from movement inside the home, and gravity.

Mudding drywall is a DIY-friendly project, but patience and practice are required for perfection. If you’re working in a highly visible area and want the best possible finish, hiring a professional drywaller is worth the cost. Pros have the tools and know-how to ensure a smooth surface with fewer sanding sessions and less cleanup.

To maintain plaster walls, inspect them regularly for cracks and seal them early. Clean the walls by dusting regularly or using a gentle, damp cloth. It's also important to avoid moisture exposure. Repainting as needed will help maintain the wall's appearance and longevity.

Plaster can be a difficult DIY to master, especially if you plan to plaster an entire room, rather than patch a small area. Before you begin a plaster DIY project, you need to know which tools and type of plaster to use. It's also important to know how to prepare the surface and apply the plaster for a smooth finish. If that all sounds like a lot of work, you may prefer hiring a local plaster repair contractor to do the job.
