I was disappointed that it took almost a year for them to start my job after months of delay and then the customer service was terrible. And I spent around $5,000 extra to have my roof pitched properly and it still puddles in two areas and they said there's nothing they can do about it. Very disappointing!

Faster better

Hoyt did a re-roof job, replaced the under-layment and replace lightweight concrete tiles. Corrected problems left behind by previous roofers many years ago. Workers showed up on time and communicated status and daily coordination. Did several walk-throughs at the end of the job to ensure there were no loose ends. Overall - very pleased with the job.

I contacted Hoyt for a quote. Charles came out and made a thorough presentation, leaving me with a pamphlet explaining the product to be used. Within a day I received an email with a quote that was comparable (even a little more attractive) than the other half-dozen quotes I had received. I checked references and reviews, and decided to hire them to replace my 20+ year old roof. I was advised that the final cost could be more depending on how much wood repair was needed. I was also advised that the cost was higher due to the cost of wood (pandemic). I needed a start date delayed due to my schedule, which was to the company's advantage. They began exactly when I needed them. Charles even assisted in moving the RV out of the driveway. Demo of the roof was complete in one day. The rest of the work was done efficiently, and crew cleaned up each day leaving the house looking neat. Inspection was easily completed, and work completed in approximately one week, with Charles answering phone calls with questions and assisting as needed. I would highly recommend Hoyt for product, cost, and quality of workmanship.

We are giving Hoyt Roofing a 5 Star rating, because of the excellent job they did on the installation of our new roof. The whole process only took four days and the workers went over and above to keep us informed of the progress and maintaining a clean work area. We were impressed from the initial meeting where we discussed and deciding on the terms and conditions to completion of the job. They were not pushy or try to upsell their products. We highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a new roof.

Work started on a Saturday with large experienced teardown crew. They completed teardown and started wood replacement where necessary. At end of the day they covered the entire roof with sheeting in case of rain. A small experienced crew returned early on Monday to complete the wood work. When city inspection was done on wood repair, they started the shingle work and finished in a few days. At the end of every day they went on a nail patrol with magnetic tools looking for nails around the perimeter of the house. They did a very professional job with roof, cleanup, etc. I used Hoyt before on another house and will use them again.

Very well. On schedule, efficient work crews, professional installers, project managers addressed any questions and concerns quickly and with resolution to owner's expectations, kept a clean work area after each day, no delay due to lack or back log of inventory. Bid was not the lowest nor the highest, but definitely matched the quality of product and work with no hidden or surprise costs. Would recommend without hesitation and invite anyone considering this company to come by and inspect the installation.

All went well, roof looks great! People walked in the neighborhood and would comment that the progress was looking good. I picked Hoyt out for 4 bids. The city inspector said when I asked him if they did a good job, he said yes and he would recommend them.

This is for an email inquiry in March 2016. Horrible, pre-sales customer service. This vendor has gotten on our blacklist to avoid. If they can't provide even decent service to a sales inquiry, I can't imagine how they would be like if you hired them and had a problem. Their reply to my initial inquiry about a small roof repair job was a short, "That is something we don't do." When asked why not or what repair route they would recommend, I never heard back from them despite several follow up emails. Either they are so busy, or they don't want to deal with small jobs. Regardless, customer service was handled so poorly, I would never hire them for any future job.

Wonderful! No problems. All employees were polite and cleaned up daily. We were concerned about a pending rain storm that was scheduled to arrive, Chuck W. made sure all work was completed before the rain storm hit. They came out and gave another fair estimate. The same guy came out and did the repair over a couple of days in between other jobs. Jose is one of the best roofers I have had the pleasure to work with. He was very professional and even apologized when he had to use the restroom. Everything was done professionally and when he discovered that some shingles could not be reused he got the proper replacements for them. I felt very comfortable and trusted Jose to do a great job. I would recommend them to anyone else.

Using them to repair instead of replacing saved me over $10,000. They scheduled the job and showed up on time. They ran into some unexpected problems and handled them with professionalism and told me everything they were doing and changing. They also did not know about some interior problems and did some minor damage and fixed it at the end of the job with no questions asked. The price, professionalism, and keeping me informed about everything was Excellent. I would recommend them to anyone needing roof work.

It was excellent. He did everything really great. I was really happy with his service. He did a real nice job. Everything was done within a week of when they said they would do the job. They were early. I am highly recommending them to anybody who asks me. They were very clean. They were there and in and out so quick and it was seamless. There were no issues at all. It took a couple hours. (*** inaudible at 3:10 due to agent breathing in mic***) blew a bunch of ceramic tiles off my roof. (*** inaudible ***) two story building and replace all the tiles and nail them all down. It really stood out how quickly and professionally they took care of everything. They came when they said they would and they did what they said they were going to do.
