"My house was in shambles and required a full makeover. We also wanted to add a shower to the downstairs bathroom for my mom as she gets older and stairs are getting tougher. I got 6 estimates and most came back much higher than the one I received from US Home developers and their definitions of work to be provided was also very vague, and left a lot of room for additional fees. Belle gave me a very detailed contract outlining everything that would be done. Armando was our contractor and like Belle, he was an absolute pleasure to work with. The work was done very quickly and only took as long as it did because of wait times for material. Belle met with us a few times to shop for material and helped us through the design process which was very helpful because I was stressing out on this aspect. Armando made sure everything was the way I wanted it to be and was very flexible when it came to scheduling. At the end of job he even had all the junk in my backyard, which was a lot, picked up. I was so happy with the work they did downstairs that I decided to rehire them to do the upstairs. They even added roof replacement to the contract for an additional price that was much lower than the 4 other estimates I got. My house went from looking like it was straight out of an episode of Hoarders to looking like it’s straight out of a magazine. Couldn’t be happier!

"As first-time homebuyers, this was also our first renovation work! I made a call to AGA based on a friend's recommendation, and they quickly arranged for one of their project managers to meet me at the house and discuss our ideas. I'm so glad they sent Guy! From our first meeting, I had confidence that AGA could handle our projects (big and small). As the project manager, Guy helped us define the scope the project and was ALWAYS accessible and responsive. Guy was onsite most days and texted me photo updates to keep me informed. The electrician, plumber, tile specialist, paving/hardscaping, and other workers he brought in did an excellent job. They worked quickly and well, and always left the job site tidy. If you've done remodels/renovations before, you know how many decisions and purchases there are to make, and it can get overwhelming. "Victor told me, as did another roofer, that the leak might be hard to find and fix because the leak is near a valley and existing roofing materials are no longer available. The first person he sent to fix it was not successful. Victor checked his work and found that the guy did not do the work quoted so he fired him as they left the job. Victor then had the roof covered during a long spell of rain and had his people do a much more complete repair after the storm. However, during the next heavy rain storm some leaking occurred so we are looking at the need for more work which has yet to be specified. Victor has been very receptive and responsive to my concerns. Although fixing the roof has been frustrating, I do not blame Brea Roofing because it is tough working with the existing tile roofing which is no longer made.

"We hired Joe and his team to handle our primary bathroom remodel and are very pleased only a few days into the work. While our bathroom is on the small side, in order to get what we want, it requires complete demolition and all appropriate re-configuration so it is a substantial project. In our initial consultation, Joe provided great space-efficient ideas and helpful suggestions for where to shop for the items we'd need. He has been extremely communicative and responsive which we greatly appreciate, as that can be hard to come by. So far his team has been quick and efficient and is meeting our expectations in terms of the daily schedule and progress. Attached is a before picture of one side of the bathroom, as well as a mid-way pic after the demolition. We will update this with a completion photo in just a few weeks!

"This review is about 3 years late. I was referred to CALECCO by a mutual fried that had some work done by them and was very happy. This was my first major project so I was kind of weary as I had heard allot of horror stories about contractors. Long story short I had my plans prepared and called CALECCO along with 2 other construction companies I found on line (all licensed).
<br /> I decided to go with CALECCO as I really appreciated Andre's advice, knowledge and attitude. For every problem he was quick to come up with a solution. And believe me, in construction there is always problems. He was also the middle bid, about 8000 more then the lowest bid I had, but I felt that it was money well spent.
<br /> Andre and his crew did a great job, finished the project as promised. The biggest thing I appreciated was his problem solving capabilities, my house is a 80yr. old house, so obviously we had some unexpected surprises and issues that needed to be addressed. I am a bit of a panicer, so every time something came up, Andre took the time to call me and talk me through it.

"Our balcony floor had for some reason been previously patched with roofing material that had failed over the years, and was now allowing rain to leak into the garage below. After pulling off the affected garage drywall, we could see that the balcony supporting timber had been seriously damaged, so it was time to call in the professionals! After reviewing local contractors, we called in California Home Center to advise us on what we needed to do to fix this issue. CHC quickly outlined the work needed, and gave us a reasonable price for the work. The first task was to replace all damaged timber, to ensure that we were building on a solid foundation. Next, CHC build a solid multi layer waterproof floor, with all new flashing, where we selected the final texture and paint finish. In order to do all of this work, some of the balcony stucco and garage drywall had to be removed, which was beautifully restored once the work was done, including priming and painting. The work took around 2 and a half weeks to do from start to finish, and we are delighted with the results! I would recommend CHC for any building work that you need done on your house based on our experience with them!

During both packing up for the move as well as the carrying of the moved articles, all staff were professional and yet personally cordial. This was so despite the serious weather challenges encountered on the long early Winter transport and the size of the shipment.
