I called 3 weeks after installation of a whole side febr between my neighbor and myself 1-3 boards slit down middle called immediately informed them less then a month installed sent pics e mailed called never returned my calls finally answered was to come look and replace boards they ghosted us they donâ t stand by there work would not recommended

I planned to do board and batten wainscoting, from floor to ceiling, at my home in Vacaville. This was planned at four different locations viz. the dining area, the fireplace, the staircase and the master bedroom. I had a specific design in mind based on an YouTube inspiration and James Barbosa@JB construction was ready for the challenge. We did all the discussion over messages as I was out of station and a site visit wasnâ t possible. James clearly understood the job and gave a competitive quote. What I liked most was his attention to detail. For instance, in the inspiration picture I sent him, he found out that the wall was smooth soft and not rough texture as new home builders leave it to be. He said that to get the perfect finish that I want, he needs to add a layer of cardboard before installing wainscoting. Loved his involvement. James and his brother came up on agreed date and time. Their work was immaculate and very professional. They exactly knew what to do, they had the right tools, they were very creative to address the dozens of small problems and they were meticulous with measurement to get it perfect. This is not an easy work and requires painstaking calculations and hundreds of perfect measurements for the board and batten to appear perfect and James did it all. There were challenges to measure in the multi-landing staircase and the two small windows in master bed around which the wainscoting has to come and this required creative thinking and extra involvement to get it right. James was ready for the tough job. James got a professional painter to do the finishing and the end product is EXCELLENT. I did not want a vanilla inventory home and wanted to have a unique magic there and the wainscoting is doing the trick. Everyone who comes to my home gets a WOW when they see it. Appreciate James Barbosa for doing an exceptional job and will highly recommend him to anyone who is looking at a very professional and high quality job.
