Next day sanded the deck, let dry, returned to apply preservative - which brought out the original beauty of the redwood. Spectacular results. Throughout they protected downspouts, electrical connections, cleaned dirty water sitting in the base of sliding glass doors - and somehow made a squeaky deck silent. (I've walked across it 4 times tonight and there wasn't a single squeak.) Gorgeous result. "DJS' crew worked fast and did a very comprehensive job. They arrived on time, were great about cleaning up after themselves and were pretty good communicating the state of the project. They were interrupted by several days of rain, but came right back and finished up when the weather cleared, putting in extra hours on a Saturday to finish the job in a timely manner. The house looks very sharp and clean, and the extra priming will help keep the older home protected from the weather. It took a great big chunk of our budget for repairs, but they definitely took care of everything, from color consultation at the beginning to clean up at the end. They worked from the minute they came out to the moment they left. They took only a lunch break. The owner, Mr. Leonard, had to go out of town. His team continued to work, providing the same quality of work, in his entire absence. They continued as if he were there. He didn?t call me back regarding the questions that I had. However, his team repeatedly asked me questions regarding what and how I wanted things done. When he came back, I told him that I was very impressed with the team and that he had a trustworthy team.
