Small jobs welcome

"was recommended to me by a friend and I am very happy I used them. Luis was always on time and showed up whenever he said he would to look at the job and come up with a quote. The crew that completed the work showed up on time and made quick quality work of the project I had. The driveway extension was tied in perfectly with the existing driveway and the new pad they poured plus installed 6x6 strong ties are square, level and to the exact measurements I gave them."

"He went beyond what he was here for. He crawled under my house to make sure my toilet was not leaking. He took pictures of my other pipes under the house. Gave me some recommendations . Then proceeded to reset my toilet and seal it. He then cleaned up my bathroom floor. Very knowledgeable man"

"Juan and his hard working crew removed all our old, broken concrete and put in a beautiful driveway, front sidewalk, front porch, side porch, retainer wall, steps, and did an excellent job on repairing our house foundation. He arrived on time and cleaned up when finished. Juan is a very hard working person who listens to your design "dreams." We would hire him again and highly recommend him to others. The price was fair too. Very happy with the job!"

Foundation Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

Installing a sump pump takes a bit of know-how, but it is possible to do it yourself. You’ll need to familiarize yourself with details like where sump pump water goes to avoid creating new flooding risks. If you’re doing the work yourself, it’s recommended to bring in a pro for a quick inspection afterward so you can be sure your home is protected from any water damage concerns.

Yes, it is generally unhealthy and can be dangerous to live in a damp basement. The damp air can negatively affect your breathing and lungs, and the moisture promotes mold growth and pest infestations. Inhaling mold spores or waste particles from insects and rodents attracted to the moisture can be hazardous. This damp, moldy air can also circulate into your main living area. It is crucial to resolve any moisture problems and implement preventative measures before using your basement as a living space.

Costs depend on pump type, labor, and site-specific requirements like excavation or drainage lines.

A sewage ejector pump is necessary if you have any plumbing fixtures, such as a bathroom, laundry room, or sink, located below the level of your home's main sewer line. Standard plumbing relies on gravity to drain wastewater and solid waste into the municipal sewer system or a septic tank. For fixtures below this level, like those in a basement, gravity cannot move the waste upward. The ejector pump provides the force needed to pump the sewage up to the main line. Without one, wastewater from below-ground fixtures would back up, potentially causing a sewage overflow and flooding. If all of your plumbing is on the main floor or higher, gravity is sufficient and an ejector pump is not needed.

The difference between an ejector pump and a sump pump lies in their purpose and design—an ejector pump functions to remove liquid gray water and soft solid sewage waste from your home. If you have a laundry room or bathroom in your basement, an ejector pump for your sewage tank prevents sewage from backing up in your washing machine or bathroom’s drains.

A sump pump is designed to remove excess groundwater that may enter your home, either due to flooding or periods of heavy rain.
