"In general, it went well. Everyone from Huft was very professional. The salesperson could not tell me the brand of water heater that would be installed. I had responded to ad on Angie's list. I should have paid attention to this. In the past, sales reps from other companies could tell me the brand name of the product, and if it qualified for a rebate. The product that was installed is an excellent product, but doesn't qualify for a rebate. The service personnel were all very polite and professional. What I would have done differently is pursued finding out the brand name of the product before it was installed and found out if it qualified for any SMUD rebates before making the purchase. In general, I would give Huft an excellent rating for service. They came back two days later when the water heater wasn't producing hot water, and installed new fuses. The technician was very professional and courteous. As a consumer, remember to jot down as many questions as possible before you meet with the contractor."

"Of the five businesses I contacted for estimates, I thought the Bonney installer gave me the most honest up-front estimate (although it was also the highest estimate). Some of the businesses would only give me over-the-phone low-ball estimates that were obviously just for the water heater itself, neglecting to mention the extra components that would be needed such as valves, strappings, expansion tank, and an electrical disconnect box, all required for the City permit. And only a couple of businesses, even one who came to the house, bothered to mention the required City permit. The Bonney installer showed up on time with all the required equipment. He removed the old tank and components, prepped the area for the new components, and completed the installation in about five hours. He also cleaned the area thoroughly when he was finished. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the results. It passed the City inspection. And I also think I got a better quality water heater brand which isn't available online or at discount big-box stores."

We checked out a few samples to see how they would look with the lighting in our house. We placed the tiles on our floor in different parts of the kitchen to see which one I liked the best. My husband actually left the final decision up to me. I made my decision and called up Spectrum One. We had already purchased our appliances and they had gave us a list of other material that was needed. Once everything was set up, the guys came out to do the job. They were on time and cleaned up after themselves. They were very hard workers and made sure that the job was dust free. Not only did they do an awesome job on my floor, but they also did a beautiful back splash. I was very pleased with the installation of my cabinets. I would definitely refer them to all my family and friends.
