"As a homeowner in Clovis, CA, I couldn’t be happier with the AC service repair I received from Roo’s Heating and Air Conditioning. From the moment I called, I felt like I was in good hands — they scheduled me quickly, showed up on time, and took the time to explain exactly what was wrong with my AC unit. The technician was friendly, professional, and worked efficiently to get my system up and running again, which made a huge difference in this Clovis heat! I really appreciated their honesty and fair pricing, and I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again or recommend them to friends needing air conditioning repair or HVAC services."

Small jobs welcome

As my business name says, I am My Father's Daughter. I was raised joining him on construction sites and gained valuable home maintenance skills as well as an old school work ethic. \n\nI have 10+ years of cleaning experience, from move-out cleans of federal employee apartments, to re-occurring, general and deep cleans to all kinds of clients. I've worked as a groundskeeper taking care of a 140 unit mobile home community maintaining yards and public areas. I've maintained trails and cleared brush for the Forest Service and love any opportunity to be outside.\n\nWhether it be cleaning your home, maintaining your yard, or you have a random household chore/task needing to be taken care of, I can do it. If it has to do with your home, whether inside or out, I can help.

"I used All American Air to preemptively replace my nearly 30 year old HVAC system. The entire process was a breeze both literally and figuratively. The HAVC Mechs/Techs took great care in removing my old HAVC system and installing the new one. Being a guy, I'm always interested in how things work. The Mech/Techs had no problem answering my questions. Very cordial and polite. I must say that I would use All American Air again and cannot recommended them enough."

"I received 3 bids. Daryl, owner of Master Air Duct Cleaning, was 75% less than a bid received from So Cal...(competitor) He and his son did fabulous job, they were very thorough, totally cleaned up after service was performed...would never know they had been there. My 1500 sf home was built in the early 60's and I had a terrible "dust" problem. I used very expensive "3M Filtrete" filters...no help. Daryl showed me pictures (before & after) from inside my registers and returns and I could see the amount of dirt and dust that had accumulated over the years. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Master Air Duct Cleaning."

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

Indications of an HVAC problem include inconsistent heating or cooling throughout your home, unpredictable temperature changes, or inadequate air flow from vents. Abnormal sounds such as grinding, banging, or hissing, and unpleasant smells like mustiness or burning are also potential warning signs. A rise in energy costs without an increase in usage may also imply decreased efficiency. An HVAC system that frequently cycles on and off or cannot maintain a stable temperature is malfunctioning.

Mold in your air conditioner isn't a good thing, as it can be harmful to your health. If the mold travels through the ductwork or is blown out of the A/C, you and your family can inhale mold spores and develop respiratory illnesses and other problems. Preventing mold from growing in the air conditioner will help protect your health.

If you know how to identify supply and return ducts, you’ll find that only the supply ducts will have dampers. Although your return ducts can have dampers, it’s not common. If you have one return duct that is pulling in too much air, adding a damper to it can help with overall system performance. However, dampers on return ducts are not a necessary addition for most homes.

Condensation forms when warmer, outside air combines with cooler air in your ductwork. This can happen when there are leaks in your air ducts, your HVAC system has a dirty air filter, or there’s a lack of insulation around the ducts. To prevent it from happening, replace your HVAC filters as directed. Also, once every five years, hire a local air duct cleaner to clean and inspect them.

In most cases, homeowners insurance will cover an AC replacement if it was damaged due to a covered peril—such as theft, fire, or storms. So, if your air conditioner needs replacing due to regular wear and tear, your insurance company probably won’t pay for a new one. However, home warranties often cover HVAC repairs and replacements.
