The difference between a pole barn and a stick-built barn is in the construction. Large poles in the ground provide support for pole barns. Pole barns are more cost-effective because they require fewer materials and less labor.

While building a treehouse isn’t necessarily a death sentence, damaging the trunk is one of the ways to kill a tree. If you’re concerned about the tree, opt for a treehouse support system rather than attaching it directly to the trunk.
