"Babylon Gardens has been a fantastic company for our large backyard project and we're very pleased with what they accomplished in the last couple months. Professional, responsive and high quality work. Definitely recommend them to others and I'll use them again in the future. The owner Ron is a pleasure to deal with and their field lead Juan is awesome."

"My remodeling project was a success thanks to a helpful contractor.
I had been wanting to remodel my kitchen for several years and took bids for the work from several firms.  Most contractors looked at the size of the kitchen and gave me a high bid without listing any specific details of what would be done.  When I contacted, David Molina of David's Artistic Tile, he explainded exactly where he could provide service, and he provided a detailed and fair bid.  He did not try and take on work that he was not comfortable with and he explained where he could help in our remodeling project. He took the time to understand what work I wanted done and showed a real interest in providing quality service.
Mr. Molina was directly involved in our kitchen remodel project.  While he had workers to help out, he directed all of the work and was available to respond to questions at any time. He is very professional, works hard to meet the project schedule, and completes the work on budget.  He also was very helpful in coming up with ideas for the kitchen back splash and choice of flooring for my project. I highly recommend David's Artistic Tile for all kitchen remodeling projects and plan to use this service again for additional remodeling work on my house.

"Aquatic Tech is a really good reliable company. I have just moved to Modesto about 2 years ago. And I am buying a home, and I needed a lot of little projects to get fixed. well the last year & half I have made appointments with 5 different company`s through home advisor, but none of them ever showed up . Man, I feel good that Aquatic showed up and fixed some of my house issues at very reasonable prices . They do good work and I highly recommend."

"The guy was great. I had several of the contractor who took a look at the job. They said the deck had to be replaced. the other contractors did not diagnose the rot at the foot of the house. When Gilbert took it apart. it was completely rotted. Which other contractors would have discovered once they began the work. Gilbert repaired the deck instead of replacing it. only Gilbert diagnosed the rotted footer in the house in advance. Gilbert will be replacing my roof this fall. Out of all the contractors, Gilbert's price was less than 1/3 of the offer of other because they wanted to replace the deck and it did include repair to the house."

Marble Restoration questions, answered by experts

No, you cannot use vinegar to polish marble. It is too acidic for cleaning or polishing and can etch the surface. Instead, opt for non-acidic cleaners made specifically for marble. Follow the manufacturer’s directions to ensure proper application and to protect the marble. However, a damp mop can be an effective marble cleaner when used appropriately and as long as moisture is immediately soaked up.

It’s generally safe to use a Magic Eraser on quartz countertops. Magic Erasers are made from melamine foam, a gentle abrasive that can remove scratches and stains from various surfaces. Although using abrasive cleaners on quartz is not recommended, the melamine foam is gentle enough to remove minor stains and scratches without permanently damaging the quartz countertops.

Marble countertops can last from 20 to 100 years, making them an excellent choice for anyone looking for durability. The life span depends on several factors, including how well you take care of your marble countertops. Marble is a porous material, so it can require more upkeep than other countertop options.

Engineered stone is nonporous, unlike natural stone, and does not need to be sealed. You do not have to worry about etching or bacterial growth. It is more durable than natural stone and concrete, as well as highly heat resistant. Engineered stone is easy to clean and maintain. You can wipe it down with warm water and soap. Use a non-scratch scrub pad for stains and avoid any harsh cleaners. Engineered stone can even be eco-friendly, with some manufacturers using waste byproducts or organic resins.

One of the primary benefits of a soapstone countertop is that the material is heat-resistant. You can put a hot pan on soapstone, and it won’t scorch or crack. Despite being able to handle extreme heat, soapstone is much softer than granite, quartz and similar materials. This means that it scratches easily, so you should not prepare food directly on the surface.
