When the repair man arrived he examined the opener and determined that the  2 LED bulbs were causing interference with the antenna. The bulbs were replaced and the remotes worked perfectly. He suggested that we do a tuneup on the door at a cost of $99. What a terrific experience! What a great show of concern for a customer!
