Established in 1978. Robin Hilton Professional Land & Tree Maintenance was founded in beautiful San Diego, California. Our family company has been owned and operated since 1978. We pride ourselves on consistently striving to provide excellent service and client satisfaction.Our team is very knowledgeable about the pruning techniques for all variety of trees. We treat all of our properties with the utmost care.

"I am the President of our 16 unit HOA. We required over 10 very large trees (about 50 ft tall) removed and another 3 very tall trees trimmed. Robin Hilton Professional Land and Tree Maintenance provided a very reasonable estimate and won the bid. Given the scope of work, a team of 14 men showed up and were able to complete the work in one day. They removed debris by mulching it on site and trucking it away. All trees stumps were ground down 18 inches and evidence of trees removed was gone. What amazed me the most was how efficient,  professional and experienced her team was. I was so impressed with the team, I had to buy them lunch. You would be crazy not to hire them. You will be so pleased with their work ethic that you may also consider buying them lunch. There aren't enough stars to rate this business so they get the max!"

While you don’t need to put anything down before mulch, you can apply a pre-emergent herbicide to prevent weed growth. As long as you remove weeds before you spread mulch, you should be in the clear. But a herbicide is something that you can put down before mulch as an extra layer of protection.

Buying topsoil in bulk or a bag depends on how much area you’re trying to cover. Even if it goes on sale, bagged topsoil isn’t as cheap as buying it in bulk, but transporting bulk topsoil can become cumbersome if you don’t have the proper truck. If you can find an easy delivery option and have the space to store a large amount of topsoil, buying in bulk will give you more bang for your buck.
