They did a great job. Clint came out and gave me an estimate. His crew came out and did the work and cleaned everything up. They did a perfect job.

I asked them to deliver mulch, I asked them how much space I needed to be covered.
They kept dumping more and more and it went all over my grass which is now going to die as a result. When they were done they washed the inside of their truck in my yard. They never even asked me if they could use my hose and wash the inside of their truck. I contacted them about this issue and they said they couldn't do anything about it. I even emailed them and sent them pictures.

We've been using them for years so I just call them every year. I think that they do a good job. At times they, like if it is raining they wouldn't call me or something, but they always ended up doing the job.

Great! Clint called us first thing in the morning let us know that he would an hour late or
so late. He called again they were 10 to15 minutes from our house.
He and a second certified arborist, Aaron, went right to work. We wanted to visually balance the tree while smaller branches have to grow out to replace the ones that had to be removed. They invited us to sit and watch so we could pick which stubs we would like to keep and hang outdoor lanterns from until the tree fills in the bare spots.
They chipped several times so that the pile never got more than 6-7 feet tall, blew/swept up the small debris, and even picked little
branches out of the vegetable garden.
Clint and Aaron were professional, personable, and efficient. We would use San Diego Tree Care again and have already recommended them to a friend.

San Diego Tree Care performed the removal of two large Ash trees that were very close
to the house. The tree removal was performed promptly and completed in a timely manner.

Initial contact took a while, but then they were very responsive. Crew arrived on time and cleaned up well. Trees look great now.

San Diego Tree Care Service provided excellent service. Mr. Reed was extremely accomodating about setting up the initial visit to look at the pine tree in need of attention, and showed up on time on the appointed day. He was efficient, but did not rush, he answered questions about the tree, as well as about his company (workers comp. and such issues), and provided a written estimate and scope of work before he left. The price he gave was quite reasonable, but we were most impressed by his attitude, he listened to our concerns about having the tree shaped to maintain its health as well as to prevent future mishaps such as broken branches, with an eye to the overall aesthetic. On the day of the job, the men arrived on time, the Crew Leader, Sam, and his two assistants. The assistants immediately started hauling away the large piles of brush (large branches from other trees on the property), while Sam spent a few minutes assessing the pine tree from all angles. He put together his climbing gear and got to work, methodically, and carefully. Twice during the process he had one of his assistants ask me to view the job in progress, and let him know if we were all on the same page concerning the level of trimming and the shaping process. After Sam had completed his work, he and I discussed the results, the logic Sam had used to arrive at the choices he'd made, the health of the tree, and signs to look for that would indicate the tree remained healthy. From the time the crew pulled up to the house, to the time they left was three hours exactly. At all times, all members of the crew were courteous, and respectful of property, and safety practices. They were efficient, but not sloppy or careless, and even cleaned up the (small) mess in the street that the wood chipper created. Highest recommendation for Mr. Reed, and Sam and his crew.

Clint Reed answered our rather desperate call and came out the same day to take care of this emergency, even though it was night time and still raining heavily. His crew worked steadily and cleared away all of the trimmed branches. The estimate was fair and their work was excellent. They gave me a 10% discount based on my Angie's list membership. I will hire them in the future for any tree services required. They have a contractor's license and have a Certified Arborist on staff.

On time, all work done well and quickly, and cleaned up leavings.

We called Clint at San Diego Tree Care for an estimate on a cutting down a Brazilian pepper tree in our backyard. He was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. We also asked him to give us an estimate on two other trees that we were thinking about having cut down. Clint was happy to give us the additional estimates. We decided to have two of our trees cut down (including stump grinding) and one trimmed. Clint was able to start work on the trees with in a few days. We were very impressed with how fast the whole process went. The trees were cut down, trimmed and stumps grinded, everything was cleaned up. A job well done. As a bonus he gave us the option of keeping the wood for the fireplace or wood chips for mulch. He also threw in a log splitter which we did not have to rent. Phenomenal company! We highly recommend them and plan to use them in the future.

I called him and told him that the trees needed trimming and he called me back a few days later when checked his schedule and scheduled the job for a week later. Since he uses one of those bucket trucks, he put "No Parking" signs on the street all around the building a few days before he came out. I had to talk to him about some of the trees so I wanted to meet him at the site. It was raining and I asked him if they were still going to be doing the work and he said yes, his crew would be there in 1/2 hour. Since it was raining, they probably ran into some traffic and showed up an hour later. We talked about which trees to trim and since there is one branch that goes across my bedroom window, I wanted that one to stay so we discussed the best option. I got home from work and all the trees look really nice.

Very well. Replaced another tree service, who backed out of job (see comments on his service). Cheaper - $2950 for more work than originally quoted $4000 (reduced to $3600) by the other company. Showed up on time, took one + days to complete and did excellent job.
