"They are family owned and operated. Jorge was very friendly and professional, and did everything to help. They even moved the tops of the tanks that must have been over a hundred pounds to a different location and installed Risers. We had to find where the septic tanks were, and what type of tanks, and what was needed to bring the tanks up to code. So we can sell the property. We would recommend them to anyone."

"John Salada was courteous and clean. Plumbing you can trust. He not only pumped by septic tank but also did necessary plumping. Give him a try! I highly recommend him and will be using him myself in the future. Rose Bruce, Cotati, CA"

"Micah is a trustworthy, very knowledgeable tradesmen. He genuinely loves his work, and he does exceptional work. Ià ¢à  à  m a licensed contractor and I would only call Micah for the big complicated jobs and also the technical jobs that just need to fix instead of a complete replacement which would normally cost thousands. He has done under ground work, new construction work, remodels, big jobs and small jobs that I hired him for. 5 stars all the way."

Septic Tanks questions, answered by experts

For homes with a septic tank, harsh chemicals like those found in drain cleaner or bleach aren’t recommended. Some chemical drain cleaners can disrupt the balance of bacteria in the septic tank or damage your pipes. For homes with a septic tank, you can choose drain cleaners specifically formulated for use with septic tanks or go with a drain snake. When in doubt, make sure you know who to call for a clogged drain

There are a variety of different types of septic systems that can work in your home—such as conventional anaerobic systems, chamber systems, drip distribution systems and mound septic systems. All of them work using natural processes to break down solid waste and effectively treat wastewater without needing to be connected to a city sewer system. Which type of septic system you need will depend on characteristics of your property like how high the bedrock is or groundwater table is. Different types of systems come at different costs to install.

If your well pump is running continuously (meaning without turning off or stopping), it's a sign that your well pump is starting to break down. The length of time your well pump should cycle is dependent on many factors, like the tank size, pressure setting, and even the amount of water in your well. Generally, your well pump should cycle, or go from running to not running every few minutes.

While homeowners connected to a municipal sewer line still have to keep up with plumbing maintenance, the downside to a septic system is that all the maintenance falls on the homeowners. Not calling in a pro to pump the tank every few years or accidentally flushing or draining the wrong types of materials can quickly cause clogs, which can back up into drains around the home.

On average, you should call a pro to pump your cesspool once per year. If you have a larger home with a lot of family members, you may need to pump more (up to six times per year). On the flip side, if you’re talking about a cesspool for a home you don’t use much or if you’re the only occupant in a home, you won’t have to pump nearly as much.
