"We recently had Mega Power Electric Inc install a solar system and panels. The President and provided excellent communication all the way through the process. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. He demonstrated how the array of panels would meet our energy needs and as opposed to some of the other companies, wasn't selling us more than we needed. We are very satisfied with our solar system and I highly recommended Mega Power Electric Inc."

"They were prompt and knowledgeable about what would be required to repair the door. They were not the lowest bid but were willing to lower the price to be more competitive. "The owner called me back within a very short time of leaving a message. He was able to provide me a quote over the phone after sending him photos. They were honest, cable came off and instead of trying to sell me another one they told me mine was fine and put it back on. They were on time and professional. Their price was very reasonable. They did an excellent job and in the future this will be the only company I call"

"Nice people to work with and I felt very professional.  The only thing negative is that they were a little slow in responding to emails and it took them a little longer than I had expected to start the job. but in all fairness, they did tell me they were very busy with other jobs and I appreciate that they squeezed me in.  Once they did, they were here promptly every day."

For a backyard garden gate where public access isn't a concern, the direction it swings is largely a matter of personal preference. Finally, always check your local building codes, as they may have specific requirements for which way a gate must swing.

While many gate hinges are often made of extremely durable materials, such as galvanized steel, they can wear out after many years. How quickly they wear out also depends on how much use they’ve endured. It’s also possible for the hinge screws to fall out, which weakens the hinge. Once a hinge wears out, it’s time for a replacement so your gate doesn’t start sagging.
