Lighthouse Door Company installs, repairs, and services garage doors and driveway gates. We service Pacific Grove, Pebble Beach, Carmel, Monterey, Seaside, Marina, and Hwy 68. Our showroom is located in Pacific Grove, CA. We specialize in custom work, however we are happy to provide steel garage doors that you would find in the big box stores. We're a local, family owned and operated business. Eric, founder, has been in the industry over 20 years. The owner called me back within a very short time of leaving a message. He was able to provide me a quote over the phone after sending him photos. They were honest, cable came off and instead of trying to sell me another one they told me mine was fine and put it back on. They were on time and professional. Their price was very reasonable. They did an excellent job and in the future this will be the only company I call

Everything went very well.  The service tech arrived on time, went right to work.  He lubricated all of the moving parts and adjusted the auto-stop for the drive motor.

Eric is very capable, and polite.  He worked quickly removing the old wiring and control, plus taking out the old motor and chain system.  Eric tightened all the wing nuts on the wooden garage door, and oiled the complete new system including the track it runs on.  Eric moved the garage control button to a new place, and explained to us the extra security features it had, that our old system did not have.  Eric worked quietly and in less than two hours he had the new system in and working well.  He laughed saying, "I can do this work in my sleep".  It was obvious he takes pride in his work and enjoys doing it!  I gave him a tip too.

His timing was perfect for both our needs. Eric was quick, efficient, and very understandable in regards to explaining what repairs were needed and why. I was able to use the 15% coupon he had listed in his Angie's listing, awesome. He gave me an approximate cost before he came over to my house and then a better estimate after he looked at the garage doors, so I had a very good idea of what I would be spending for his work.
