"Our wonderful remodeling job was done by Best builders group & their awesome team. After shopping around for more than few months for a good home improvement company, we got to Best builders group. The project manager was easygoing, skilled, honest and perfectionist!! For sure there was no pressure of any kind which caused us to feel very comfortable with him. We decided to remodel our kitchen & the backyard. The work included the installation of artificial turf, plants/flowers while the kitchen was completely updated. They installed new cabinets (upper and lower), countertops, backsplash tiles, lights, paint and more... the new kitchen absolutely looks gorgeous and the house is like a new one. All of our friends and family always amazed when they come to visit. They took extra care of everything and the crew and staff was very nice and polite all the time. "Tom Cohen and Joe Sapir were great. They went through the possibilities and options with us, including what we could do with our budget and possibilities for financing. We bought our house as part of a repossessed hillside property, and we had to buy it in "as is" condition with decades of deferred maintenance. We had chipped away at fixing up the interiors over the past ten years, and were ready for a major (and long overdue) overhaul of the exteriors. The house is 1,200 square feet, but the garage is basically two stories with the living area on the third floor. That means a lot of stucco to repair and a lot of surface to paint. We needed new windows to replace the 50-year old ones that were original with the house, along with a new front door and sliding glass door in the back. This included expanding the size of the windows so that they were bigger (and actually up to code). The insulation in the attic was very old and needed to be replaced as well. Our garage door was dented (by a previous owner) and needed to be replaced along with the motor. Our back porch was falling apart, and we needed that repaired and painted. Our back yard had little privacy and was too hot to spend much time in for most of the year, so we also had them put in a large alumawood patio cover that extends over the porch and most of the yard (to the edge of our garden). It was important to us not to just pick a "low bid" contractor and instead to get a company that would do the work with high-quality materials and skilled crews with proper insurance and quality guarantees. We wanted this to be the last major overhaul we have to do on the exteriors of this house. The crews that came to do all of the work were very skilled, and worked with us to make sure they were doing exactly the work we wanted. Each phase of the project went quickly and efficiently, with prompt inspections and "touch-ups" afterwards to make sure everything was done well. Tom and Joe were very responsive and communicated well with us throughout the projects. We are very happy with the work, and we got our money's worth."

"After many roofing estimates that were incredibly high and came with either no financing or high interest financing, I stumbled upon Zen Builders. Simon was attentive, knowledgeable, and on top of his game. My roof was completed in three days, it's beautiful, and there were NO LEAKS when the rains came a few days later. The workers were professional, considerate, and the clean up was amazing. No trace of having construction in my yard. Because I was so happy with the work, I mentioned to Simon that I would love to have him come back and do a few more projects. I ended up with an even better financing option (both loans are well-within my budget) and a GORGEOUS new patio cover complete with a surprise ceiling fan in the middle! The patio is now white, and they painted the trim of my house to match. They also fixed my heating/AC ducts, insulated my attic, and for free, added plywood, so I can actually store items up there. I have never had an issue getting ahold of Simon or his sister, Kineret (Kerry). When there was an adjustment needed to the air ducts, the workers came out quickly (amid the COVID-19 quarantine) and simply fixed it! I couldn't ask for more! All work took less than a month to complete and I never felt pressured, ignored, or bamboozled. I have recommended Zen Builders to many of my friends. I hope they recover from the imposed quarantine to continue to provide excellent service."

"After searching online and interviewing a few contractors we found just do it builders on Angies list. From the beginning we had a very good chemistry with Eric the owner. A factor that was really important to us. My husband and I decided to go with him and we were very pleased with the outcome for our project. As Eric promised the remodel took almost 4 weeks. They remodel our kitchen completely with new cabinets, new granite counter top. We also changed the floors to hardwood floor and we also added recessed lights and few outlets in dining area. What I like the most with this company is that every morning we got a phone call from the project manger in the office about the schedule of every day, we knew exactly when the guys are coming to work and we were updated with the stages of the project. Communication was great and helpful for us. The crew kept our house clean as much as they could. They took the trash every end of the day and really made the process easy and comfortable experience as it can be. I will definitely recommend just do it builders to my family and friends. We are thinking to remodel out bathroom soon and I already contact Eric for a quote. Thanks again for such a beautiful work we love our new kitchen!!

"My husband and I are thrilled with our kitchen designed by Ran at Goodfellas. Not only is the finished product exactly what we hoped for, the customer service delivered by the team was amazing. Ran listened to our ideas for the kitchen and came up with a great design that is functional and looks so pleasing. He was super patient as we made small tweaks to the design until it was just as we wanted it. When it came time to install, Ran and his crew did an above and beyond job working with our uneven floors and ceiling. Working on the smallest details to get them just right, and all with a smile! The price is great especially for the high quality of cabinets and service. We went with custom paint colors and they did such a great job. I would highly encourage anyone getting a new kitchen to go with them. Ask for Ran!"

"John was available to start the work on a Friday afternoon. He installed the new outlet competently and completely. However, John made three trips to Home Depot to pick up supplies. The store is only 2 miles from my house and the first trip took over an hour. He needed to come back the following morning to complete the work because he needed two longer screws. Finally, he had quoted $200-250; but charged me $300 because the "supplies cost nearly $100.""
