"I wasn't happy with it, and I had to have them back out a couple of times. It is not a big deal, it happened a year ago. I paid them cash $1000, I paid them a check and they said they never got the check, I had to send them copies of the check. Their accounting department leaves a little to be desired. I wasn't happy with the work and the aftermath. I would not use them again. "

"The end result of our work with Exoticus Botanicus has been great. Our backyard is beautiful and much more functional. The contractor had great design ideas. Getting to the end of this project was painful and took much longer than estimated. I found numerous problems which had to be fixed - I think the contractor should have found these problems. In one instance, concrete was poorly poured and looked bad. I immediately raised this issue with the contractor but it was only after weeks of discussion that this was fixed. Our backyard was over-planted, which meant it looked good when the company left but has since become overgrown - this has resulted in later problems and unnecessary expense. The contractor recommended placing rocks as a foundation for our fountain - I asked if we should have a concrete foundation but was assured the rocks should suffice. The fountain has not stayed level and I often have to re-level it - I will eventually get it fixed (the problem is that when not leveled, the fountain quickly loses water). The worst part of this experience relates to the flagstones. We told the contractor that we wanted the flagstone pieces for our patio to be large. The subcontractor cut the stones small. We kept telling the contractor and even the subcontractor what we wanted but still the stones were cut smaller than we desired. It was only with considerable effort, redoing some of the work and extra expense that we got what we wanted. The entire project was spaced out over a long period and the job took 2 months longer than originally estimated. There were periods when no work was occurring. The contractor's own people (vs. subcontractors) only came on the weekend. Other positives: Our sliding doors did not slide easily (fairly jammed) after the works was done - it seemed dust from the stone cutting fouled the rolling mechanisms. The contractor offered to take care of this problem. This company did a fairly good job cleaning up after themselves. Overall, I love our backyard remodel and it has improved our quality of home-life. The whole process should have been much easier."

"Very well. Mr. Soto is a true professional, he went above and beyond his service requirements to provide service delivery of lawn care services to our HOA. He has also identified dozens of broken and defective sprinklers; then replaced them with brand new ones. Excellent job! 5 Stars in my opinion."

"They were very fast! They did a good job with everything. The painting they did is fantastic. At the end of each day they cleaned everything. There was never a mess. The people who work for them are very pleasant. I have no complaints what so ever. I have already recommended them."

"I am a professional speaker and I am considered one of the leading experts on "Customer Service" in the US.  Kevin provided some of the best customer service I have ever received. His work was meticulous. His venders were all excellent. This job took 2 weeks and every day he left my garage impeccably clean. He would even clean the driveway and the street before he left. He communicated with me regularly. He was flexible on a few adjustments we had to make. I would recommend him highly to anyone.

Aquarium Services questions, answered by experts

The best thing to unclog a septic tank is a mechanical auger, especially if the clog is far down the line or particularly dense. You can also clear a clog in a septic line with a wooden pole or steel rod. Be sure to follow safety precautions when working in a septic tank, including wearing heavy-duty work gloves, goggles, and a gas mask.

To keep your septic tank healthy, be careful of what you flush and be conservative with water usage, as even flushing too much water down the drain can throw off the septic system’s delicate balance. Never flush anything but human waste and toilet paper down your toilet, and be sure to have the tank inspected and pumped every two to five years, depending on the size of your household and your water usage.

A septic tank always has some amount of liquid in it—which should usually be 8 to 12 inches from the top of the tank. If the liquid level is higher than that or is overflowing the drainage pipe that leads out to the leach field, the tank may be too full and in need of pumping.

Pump the tank every 3-5 years, avoid flushing non-degradable items, and address leaks promptly to extend system life.

Your septic tank naturally contains the beneficial bacteria it needs to function, so you typically don't need to add more. However, if you wish to replenish the bacteria, you can use natural methods. For example, you can add three overripe tomatoes to your garbage disposal or flush 1/4 ounce of active yeast down the toilet every three months. While store-bought septic enzymes and chemicals are available, many experts consider them unnecessary and potentially harmful. The most effective way to maintain a healthy bacteria population is to avoid using chemical drain cleaners, which can kill the good bacteria in your system.
