"Gary was  prompt and professional for each appointment.  On the initial appointment, he patiently answered all my questions, provided a good selection of products to choose from, and gave a quote for services.  The day of service, Gary prepped & painted the inside of the fireplace as well as all hardware on the doors.  For the finishing touches, he installed a new burner and fire glass.  When he left the area was clean and ready to be enjoyed.  My boring, outdated gas fireplace is now updated, and looks great!!!  I'd hire Gary again.

"We hired Fireplace Freddie to inspect and fix our 100-year-old fireplace & chimney, making it safe to burn real wood again. Nick and Scott came out quickly, and used cameras to inspect. During the inspection Nick visually showed me what the issues were. He also verbally suggested the fix. After the inspection, we received pics and a price quote to fix the issues by installing a stainless steel sleeve in the chimney. We sent the pics and info to 3 other businesses to compare prices. After speaking with Nick numerous times, including 2 conversations with my old school contractor buddy who asked Nick just about every ridiculous question he could possibly think of, Nick remained cool and answered all of his questions. Nick also agreed to do the job with a permit from LADBS which they included in the price, so we decided Fireplace Freddie was the right company to do the job. Patrick was our installer. He had a co-worker, but I didn't catch his name. They showed up on time, covered the floor and furniture and did their job. It took a few days as they said it would, but they were on time, clean and friendly. Each day they came, they covered everything. Each night, they cleaned up and uncovered everything before they left. Patrick also dealt with our LADBS inspector who admittedly was not well versed in chimney repair. Patrick was very friendly, gave the inspector the information he needed including printed specs from the manufacturer, and we passed inspection w/o issue. Scott came back 1 week later to test the fireplace. He lit a fire to make sure it was all good, and it is. To sum it all up, everyone was friendly and professional. The job went super smooth, and we are able to use our wood burning fireplace again, safely.  I would highly recommend Fireplace Freddie. A+"

"I had a pleasure of contracting Elegant Fireplace Mantel to remove my outdated fireplace mantel and install a new precast one.
Talking to Robert was a pleasure as well, he was very helpful coordinating everything and helping out with payments.
On the other hand, Mark was really knowledgeable about pretty much everything involving mantels and fireplaces and helped me select a cheap, precast mantle which would fit my living room perfectly.
Their showroom is very well organized and pretty big with a really wide selection, unlike most fireplace mantel companies I have visited before Elegant. The installation was smooth and almost noiseless. They took all of the measurements and after installing the mantel cleaned the area as well as totally cover up the area on the wall around it.

"The project manager, Tom Cohen, was so helpful from our first meeting. He was knowledgeable about the windows and explained the differences so I could make the best choice for the money I had to spend. The windows were replaced and I'm happy with my beautiful new sliding door. The work was done quickly and my home was left in great condition. I had no clean up to do after the workers finished. Tom helped me process all the paperwork and arranged for financing , also very helpful. I would use this company again and I would ask to work with Tom Cohen. "I couldn't be happier! The owner, Mark Fry, restored an antique spool cabinet that had been disassembled. Like a puzzle, he put it back together and refinished it to match a second spool cabinet, which he also cleaned up. The two of them look great.

"I chose Most Wanted because they had good reviews and their price was much less than the other quotes I received.  Two things about the price--it was part of an Angie's List deal and I had to buy the paint myself.  Having said that, the paint was less than $1,000.  They were easy to contact by both phone and e-mail.  We had to reschedule the original date because of rain.  The owners communicated well and the on-site painter updated me on progress when I was there.
All in all, a very good experience.  I would use them again.  Some people might not want to buy their own paint, but including the paint, it was still under $3,000, thousands less than some estimates (I think the highest was $7,000), and it looks good.  They do more than paint so I may use them for other projects as well."
