"We were impressed with the Glass Masonry Systems folks who were polite, professional and came to the job timely to give an estimate which was reasonable. However, we did not use their services as we decided to go with an iron rail system for this job instead of glass."

"Gary and his excellent crew basically gutted the  interior of the structure down to the studs.  Here's the details of what they did:
1. Demolished a massive brick fireplace, originally the incinerator.
2. Stripped two walls (where the fireplace was) down to the studs, re-framed them to repair dry rot and termite damage and installed new dry wall with a skim coat.
3. Covered portions of two other walls that were brick with a skim coat.
4. Installed a completely new electrical system (two 20 amp circuits) which included eight new outlets, a ceiling fan, two exterior lights and one outdoor electrical outlet. This also leaves me set-up to install a mini-split heating and air conditioning system at a later date.
5.  Removed four layers of old roofing, repaired more termite damage and dry rot and re-sheathed and re-roofed the space.
6. Removed seven dry rotted windows, re-framed everything and replaced them with Anderson block frame 100 series Fibrex windows.
7. Removed  a door and installed double French doors in a new location that now open into my garden.
8. When the old door was removed, Gary had to repair the hole in wall which included matching existing brick work.
9. When the  French doors were installed  a new brick pathway had to be created to connect the doors to an existing brick patio. The brick work was flawless and match brick work installed 20 years ago.
10. Created new brick planters on either side of the French doors.
11. Leveled the existing concrete floor, poured a new concrete base and installed Saltillo tiles.
12. Covered a partial brick exterior with stucco.
13. He added interior and exterior molding around all the windows and doors.
14. Painted everything into a color scheme to match my home.
15. Cleaned up everything so you'd never know they were there.
Working with Gary Frazier was a pleasure, he is a gentleman, honest, calm and a skilled and knowledgeable professional.  He was willing to discuss changes and always had a good solution to any surprise or problem that came up. He provided a written contract for all the work discussed and for all the changes we made during construction. He did what he said he would do and more. He has a great crew, they were on time, cleaned up after themselves and generally pleasant to have around.  This project came in on budget and turned out much better than I ever imagined it would.

"I was not impressed with them at all. I didn't know what to expect, so I don't know whether it was on my end or their end, but it wasn't what I expected. I wanted a drawing of my bathroom, so that when I wanted to remodel it, I could show it to people, and that's what I thought I had signed up for. When I finally met with him, it wasn't about the drawing, it was about what we needed done, and this and that, and once he figured out that I didn't have enough money for what he was proposing, he kind of backed off. I was a little bummed at that point, and he said that I still needed to get the drawing to see if we could have it worked off. He said we could get it financed, and I told him that I am not sure if my husband would like me to do that, but I would like to discuss it with him after he left. He left without taking measurements and I thought that was really odd. He said he would get back to me, and a couple of days later, I wrote to him through Angie's List, and he said that it would take 6-10 days to get the drawings, and I wrote to him that my husband was concerned how he would do the drawings without any measurements, and he said he had what he needed, and he would get the drawing and the price to me. What he sent to me was a really bad drawing, and I think that was because I kept pushing him. It didn't include a bath tub, and the reason I want to get a remodel is because I want to get a bath tub in. I was only purchasing a consultation of the remodel. He was all for it when he came in, and then when he learnt that the price is too high, and he totally checked out when I asked him if there was anything my husband and I could do to make it cheaper. I paid 29 Dollars for the big deal, and was expecting a 300 Dollar design. His price was too high."

"We couldn’t be more happy and satisfied with the renovation work of Michael and his crew at Venetian Builders. Michael’s capability and skills of all the stages in the remodeling that was done to our master bathroom helped us to make the entire work process go very efficiently. This type of working rules gave them the ability to finish our project on time with no extra delays. Michael was at the house everyday supervising the work and he was always available for our notes. We love our new master bathroom and we highly recommend Venetian Builder’s to anyone who is considering a bathroom or kitchen remodel."
