"Watch out when Ernie gives you a quote! I used him for removing my floor tile, and he quoted me $2,200. Upon completion, he told me he had to charge me $2,500 - so I wrote the check because his employees were right there. He forgot to subtract the $360 deposit I had pre-paid! When I contacted him about it, he said he was putting the check in the mail that night. This was over a month ago, and he will not return my calls. I am filing for court this week. Shady business practices - says all you need to know."

"I hired Hillcrest Landscaping owned by Saul Martinez to repair or replace our old sprinkler heads and pour some concrete to finish up a sidewalk. That was in September and I have regretted it since. Do not hire this company. He is not trustworthy. He left on a Friday, said he would be back on Monday to finish up the work. I know you don't pay until the job is done but I did it and I won't do it again. Lesson learned. He got paid to finish the job and didn't. No phone call from anyone from Hillcrest Landscaping. No one came to finish up the work he said he would finish. He has been here once since with the assurance that he would be back to finish my project and I am still waiting. No call no show, again. I now have to do it myself. Some of the work will have to be hired out. Even though I have already paid Hillcrest Landscaping for the work. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! "
