"Dear Larry, I am truly sorry that you feel this way. Your statement that we lied to you is completely false. We do install seamless gutters. There are some situations that require a seam to be installed. Do to the extreme heat in Arizona, gutter runs of 60 feet or longer require an expansion joint to be put in. This allows the aluminum to expand in the 100+ degree summer heat. With out this, the gutter will more than likely buckle in the heat. The chances of a buckle are greatly increase when long runs are installed in the cooler months. There are two ways to install these joints. Either overlap the gutter or butt up to pieces with end caps. Both require a silicone joint. Some companies do one way and some the other. We find that the overlap provides a cleaner look. Gutters are not maintenance free. The Arizona sun over time will dry out and crack the silicone no matter how it is done. I am not surprised that you were told the install was substandard. If you were told is was done correctly, they would not have been able to sell you the new gutter. By the way you were severely over charged for this gutter. It should have been about $550. I wish you luck that your 78 foot gutter doesn't buckle this summer. If it does, the fix is to install an expansion joint. If that happens, you will have paid $780 to seal a new seam. My company has been installing gutters in the valley for 30+ years. As you can see from our overwhelmingly good reviews, we tend to know what we are doing."
"Daniel, I'm sorry for your frustration. You gave us your deposit on 2/5. When the contract was signed you were told approximately 6 weeks until installation. It even says that on your invoice. As of today it has only been 4 weeks, so I'm not sure why you are giving this rating."
