"HORRIBLE AND ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. My property management company called them to come out and fix a dripping shower head. TOOK 2 WEEKS OF "PHONE TAG" JUST TO SCHEDULE THEM TO COME OUT. Once they came out, they told me the water line, shower head, shower hose were old and needed flushed to stop dripping. Showed me how to do it. Then they wrote the invoice and said "nothing wrong, couldn't find the problem," so I got charged by my property management company who said Royal Plumbing didn't tell them the same thing they told me. I called Royal Plumbing 3 TIMES IN A WEEK AND A HALF (a month ago) and they never bothered to return my call. I was polite and requested a call back each time in order to straighten out the invoice to reflect what I was told. ONCE THEY HAD THEIR MONEY THEY DID NOT GIVE ME ONE PHONE CALL BACK TO STRAIGHTEN OUT THEIR INCORRECT INVOICE. I have NEVER had a Flagstaff company just IGNORE phone messages and never give the courtesy of a call back. If I could give them a NEGATIVE rating I would. The only thing "Royal" about them is they are a "ROYAL PAIN IN THE A**" CALL ANOTHER COMPANY WHO CARES ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. This one clearly DOES NOT. I don't care if you can fix something or not, if you cannot treat people right YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS! I am writing this review after over a month and a half of NO RESOLUTION."

Unlike regular cleanings, snaking your sewer line should be done as needed. There’s no reason to snake your sewer line if you don’t have any noticeable issues, like slow drainage or plugged drains. The cost to clean a sewer line is about $370, ranging from about $190 to $550 on average. The specific cleaning method and the problem's severity will impact the project's overall cost. Some of the most common sewer line cleaning methods include:

  • Snaking or rodding: $100–$250

  • Hydrojetting: $350–$600

  • Chemical treatments: $600–$1,000

  • Repair or replacement: $1,000–$7,500

The type of clog in your sewer main determines the required cleaning method. Different types or methods of sewer main cleaning require various tools like chemicals, mechanical removal, or a combination of both. Some of the most common types of sewer main line cleaning include:

  • Minor debris removal: $100–$600

  • Tree root removal: $100–$1,000

  • Trenchless pipe repair: $60–$250 per linear foot
