"The installation went so smooth.  The installer was ill at the first appointment and we rescheduled but once he got here he did a super job, was on time, didn't make a mess and cleaned up and was just a lovely person to work with. "We were selling the house and wanted to be sure that the system was operating correctly. We bought on Angie's list a service check for our system. For $129 they would service our system twice during the year and give us/new buyer priority service and a discount on any service required and parts. When they came the service man found that we had a leak and said it would cost $629 plus materials to fix. We were surprised and asked if we got a discount because we bought the service. The service person said it did not apply to the coupon we purchased. He repaired the system and did give us a 10% discount when we asked if their was a senior discount. We paid a little over $800 after the discount for the service and freon. 
I looked up the coupon we purchased and found that it said we should get a 20% discount on labor and parts. The coupon also said they would replace filters, which they did not.
I called the company and was told that the coupon was wrong, but they would give a discount and a check would be sent the next day. I was only able to talk to the secretary and not the owner. When we did not receive a check in a week I called back and was told they had misplaced it and it would go out, but we would only get 20% on the labor not on the freon ($267) as that was material, not a part. It seemed crazy that it was not a part, but they were firm on that. It took another week for the check to arrive.
Overall it was not what I would call a pleasant experience and would make me leery of buying coupons on Angie's list.
