"We scheduled an appointment, but the assigned individual under Neil Kumar did not show up. Rather than addressing the situation professionally, Neil Kumar responded with baseless assumptions and accusatory remarks directed at us as the customer. One such accusation was that we were trying to impose a time limit on the work which we never did. We simply scheduled an appointment and expected the person assigned to arrive as agreed. Unfortunately, that did not happen. What made the situation even more troubling were the unrelated and inappropriate racial comments made during the exchange, which came across as dismissive, unprofessional, and racially insensitive. As someone of Indian ethnicity myself, I found the experience especially disappointing and unacceptable. We will not be doing business with this company again."

In contrast, Cactus Nectar (Scott, owner & Ban, manager) visited our home to discuss our plans in detail. They came back with a quote that was very close to what we thought it should cost. The 7-page quote was thorough, showing all the line items they would provide and the costs for each job. It included timing for the work and payment schedule for each phase. They were professional and enthusiastic about working with us. There is so much I could say that was positive about our experience. The job manager (Lupe) was extremely flexible and responsive to any issues that arose and was always available to take calls. We did have some change orders which he accommodated, worked into the schedule and charged fair prices for. The project managers are backed up by a great team - they are constantly in morning meetings reviewing the various jobs and dealing with any issues. Additionally, Rebeca, who leads the office and is a talented designer, visited the site a couple of times to assist with important decisions. All the subcontractors we had on the job were top notch. This included demo, framing, tile removal and flooring replacement, drywall, plaster, painting, electrician, laborer, HVAC work and the finish carpenter doing all baseboards, casing and installing new doors throughout. One of the most notable aspects of our experience was the adherence to both timeline and budget. We were given a three-month schedule and a comprehensive budget. The job was completed in three months, and aside from change orders, the final costs matched the initial budget."

He quickly diagnosed the nature of the problem, explained the nature of the issue and the procedure for repairing the issue. He had the window repaired and returned to proper working order in a timely manner, and demonstrated how to properly operate the window as to how to remove it from and return it to the frame. I would highly recommend this company as they did what they promised and for exactly what they stated the job would cost when making the appointment."

"Provider was contacted to view the job and give an estimate, he estimated the work will cost $3500, estimates will be uploaded. Two days after provider contacted me and said there is more work to be done and it will cost another $1800 to finish but I have to buy the tiles. He offered 10% discount because I was a senior citizen, so the overall work will be $4600. Provider wanted 50% to start and the remainder at completion. I asked how long this would take and he stated three weeks, I was a bit busy dealing with my ailing husband so I was glad he can get this done without worrying over something else. I Zelle provider $900 on 02/18 and $1890 on 02/20 to start the project. On 03/15 provider contacted me stating he was running out of materials and needed more money to finish the job by the end of the week. I Zelle him $1000 I asked for pictures of the work and he said he would get some and send it. I have not received any pictures from him to this date so I have no idea what has been done. I didn’t hear form him after he got the money, I called and he text me saying he has a tube in his throat right now and in the hospital because he had a heart attack. I sympathized with him and was praying for his speedy recovery, I kept in touch with him often to see the progress and to know when he would get back to work. He promised he would get it all done as soon as he was able to work. He got out of the hospital, went to Rehab, said he had another infection and had another surgery. He said he would have his guys go and work on the condo but then stated they did not do anything. He texted me 06/27 saying he hope to get the condo finish by the end of next week. I received another text 07:03 stating he cannot finish it because he need to hire a plumber although he told me he will do all the plumbing work also. He then go on in the text stating he needs $1500 to finished the work by the end of next week. The balance on the job was $890 so now he is wanting more money and I have no proof if he did any work at the condo. He had the key in his possession and I received a high electrical bill in April and May so I ask a friend to go over and have a look at the work. My friend told me it seems like someone is living in the condo, the air-condition was on and there was a bed in the master room with sheets on it. I called the Provider and ask him if he gave anyone the key code and he said no. I told him I would repot this to the police. Water that the provider took the key with him without my permission, I had to ask him to please drop the key over to the house so my friend can get me some pictures. He put the key under the mat and took his lock box away. I will send the pictures I got from her, she was there to show him the job and she said he only demolished the bathroom floor upstairs."
