We've used Dorado Stone twice. They do a great job! Danial was fantastic.

Wonderful, from the beginning to the end. Ernesto at Dorado and his asst. Robyn, were extremely easy to work with. Ernie was very good at helping us pick out the stone that we ended up with. Robyn was good with scheduling.  The crew at Dorado were very professional from start to finish, very meticulous in making the granite template, all the way to the finished product. The crews showed up on time, everything was within budget and the job was completed when promised.  We would highly recommend Ernie, Robyn and their team anytime to anyone looking for new countertops, either kitchen or bath.

We actually met Daniel at the Tucson Home Show with the purchase of granite counter tops in mine...  we were able to visit with several granite folks while there and Daniel with Dorado was one that actually seemed to be interested in doing business with us.  Others such as Granite Kitchen & Bath were interested, as long as I take all the measurements and sign a contract prior to them even coming out to formally estimate the job.
Daniel was great and clearly was interested in working with us.  Daniel was more than happy to come out measure the kitchen and provide us with  a quote...  But prior to him coming out, I advised him that I would look them up on Angie's List first... which I did and i like what I had read.
After Daniel came out and give us a quote, we went to their shop and picked out the granite. The kitchen was a work in process and Daniel and Dorado were happy to work within my extended schedule, as I had a Farm Sink being custom made and knew it had to come in before they could come out and do a template.
Once the sink came in I removed the old counter tops, installed the sink and called Daniel, they were out and did the template a couple days later... a couple weeks later the install crew was out with the new tops and they were great.  Installation went smoothly and quickly and throughout this whole process the techs at each stage were professional and very polite.
A few years ago in a previous home I hired Granite Kitchen & Bath and thought that is who I would go with again...  but based on their "we have all the business we need" attitude we opted for Dorado and I am happy we did.  It was truly a pleasure working with Daniel and Dorado, a company that respects their customers and did an Excellent job.

Daniel Beltran & his crew were excellent to work with.  The personal attention to the selection of the granite plus the prompt follow up & follow through were excellent!

Daniel at Dorado, helped us through the entire process of selecting granite for countertops through the installation.  His knowledge of the entire plan was amazing.  Dorado staff involved with making the templates, cutting the granite, and installing the countertops were  highly efficient and customer service oriented.  The work was accomplished on time and in a very professional manner.  When the installation was complete, the work area was spotless.  Coordination with the other contractors was outstanding and the total job was seamlessly accomplished. Great supplier for this type of work in Southern Arizona.

We had a misunderstanding as far as the timeframe for completion. Other than this everything went well .

Fabulous group of people to work with. Ray met us numerous times to help us select the granite that fit what we had in mind and Ernie worked with us to help get the best colors in the cuts that were needed. Can't give an estimate on cost since they were a sub-contractor but would definitely work with them individually should the need arise.

They did good work and the cabinets look good.  They told me that they were going to come back to follow through but they never came back.  I would use them again in the future but would think about it.

The whole experience was about as perfect as it could have been.  I have absolutely no complaints, concerns or other comments.
Would use them again in a second if the need arrises.

I worked with Ray Leon and he met with me multiple times to try to locate the color of granite I wanted.  After not locating anything I liked in Tucson, he arranged for me to visit a provider in Phoenix who had a large selection and I found the perfect colors.  Install went well and we are very happy with the results.

We used Old El Dorado Stone as the provider of our countertops at the recommendation of our contractor. We purchased Silestone engineered quartz. At the time of purchase, the staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. We were told that it would take 2 weeks from the making of a countertop template until installation. After much urging by our contractor, this happened almost 4 weeks later. When we arrived home, we were pleased that the countertops looked beautiful and had been installed very well. We were very surprised to see that multiple holes at been drilled for placement of a faucet (there should have been only 1 and the faucet was provided at the time of installation). We had to get our contractor to go to bat for us again--the countertop had to be removed and reinstalled (about 2 weeks later). At the end of the job, it took another 2 weeks to get the countertop people together with our contractor to finish--all we needed was some silicone placed in the gap around the recessed cooktop. The countertops are beautiful and were very well installed. Old El Dorado doubled our remodel time and it took asking our contractor to go to bat to get things straightened out twice. We are pleased with the result, but feel that another company could probably do the same quality of work in a much shorter time and do it right the first time.

This company did a great job bullnosing a lot of tile for us. They didn't break a single tile, even while bullnosing multiple sides of a single tile. The cost was reasonable at $8 a linear foot. A few of the tiles had very small chips on the backside of the bullnosed edge. These chips are not even noticeable after grouting.
