We needed to encourage them to complete in the time frame that was discussed. We still need a mirror installed and are now out of town. Will review again when job is complete. The shower is gorgeous and very functional. Very pleased with job overall.

The work went pretty much all on schedule and I most of the time I knew exactly who was coming and what time. They fully covered the carpeted traffic area in the bedroom and did the tile cutting on the back patio. My home is older, the shower walls were not plumb but they prepped them to make the tile work, on the diagonal, come out perfectly. The vanity I got through this contractor is just lovely. I acquired all the products myself prior to their staring the work, it was a lot of shopping around, but they picked up the tile at 2 different locations I'd purchased it from. THe only surprise was the cost of the shower glass which they notified me of before just going ahead and ordering it; not much choice there but to get it and I'm not sorry. The shower is perfect. By and large all the workers were very pleasant to deal with and they put up with my little dog so well. The shower tile work is fantastic and I love the vanity countertop. They even sent in a team of very nice gals to fully clean the bathroom and patio when the job was done. I have used this contractor before to put a slider door in my bedroom and would use them again.

they were very professional, responded to all my questions.  the countertop is a new product, and I'm not totally satisfied with it.  pro doesn't seem to know much about it, or know what to do about my problems.  they want me to deal with the manufacturer, and the manufacturer wants me to deal with pro.  it's not enough of a problem that I'm sorry I got it, but it's not exactly how it was supposed to be.  pro people were very pleasant, very neat, and did things in a timely manner.

I know why Pro Remodeling, the owner John Almond and all his contractors are on the top of every review. From the first contact to the end result, our Master Bathroom remodeling was professionally and perfectly done. His contractors are real craftsmen and never settled for "good enough". Each element had to be... and was... perfect. Even when I thought it was OK, it had to meet their standards. Once they started (when all the pieces where delivered) it was nonstop. One day, three trades were in the bathroom at the same time. Each day they cleaned up after themselves. In the Pro Remodeling office, Pam can answer anything and responds very promptly. You never have to ask twice. To get that quality and cooperation is slightly pricier than the run of the mill contractor, but worth each and every penny. How many people show off a bathroom? We do because our friends have only one thing to say... "Wow"!

I decided to go with another company who said that the work that was done was not good and should have not leaked in such a short time.  I never heard back from them.
Response from Pro Remodeling Inc
"This job was performed by a trusted and proven roofing subcontractor whom we have used for over 10 years. The roof in question is a tile roof with a steep slope. When observed from street level, we could see that there were tiles missing all over the roof. When the roofer got up on the roof to examine it, he discovered that there were many more tiles that were loose. He advised me and [member name removed] that the best solution to fix the leaks would be a total reroof. However, due to budgetary constraints, she requested and accepted our bid to try for a band-aid repair. The repair consisted of removing several rows of tile from each side of the valley where the leak was present, reflashing the valley, sealing the flashing, then reinstalling the roof tiles. He explained to us and to [member name removed] that the bad flashing was hindering the proper drainage of the roof and a high probability that this was the source of the leak. He also explained that the leak could be originating from another part of the roof that he couldn't see unless the tiles were removed. She chose the band-aid repair and we gave her a full 2 year guarantee. When she called in November 2013 to report leaking, we sent our roofing subcontractor back to look at the problem. He thinks that the new leak is coming from a different area than the area he repaired and advised her and us that a complete new roof would be needed to make sure that the roof would not leak. Our guarantee expired on January 11, 2013, which is 2 years from the date of completion of the job. We sent our roofer back out even though our warranty had expired, and he was prepared to redo his work at no charge if he could determine that his repair was faulty. Based on these factors, I feel that the complaint is not valid. We care about the quality of our work and we care about our customers as evidenced by our excellent record of 34 years under my ownership. Thank you for the opportunity to respond. John Almond."

With greater granularity in the grading structure we would rate Pro Remodeling between B+ and A-. With this in mind, our overall review follows:
Positives:
1. Project started only when all materials were available to minimize delays.
2. John and Russ Almond were very easy to work with, checked in daily throughout the project and were very responsive to our questions, concerns and follow up requests throughout the entire process. As a result, our punch list was addressed as items occurred as opposed to waiting for the project to be completed.
3. Pro Remodeling bent over backwards to make sure all our requests and desires were addressed in an effort to assure our complete satisfaction.
Areas that  would have contributed to a higher overall rating:
1. Initial allowances on the solid surface (corian) vanities and tub surrounds were underestimated by 100% which led to our needing to reassess our overall design.
2. Not addressing the influence of non-squared walls on the base design and material selection contributed to less that desired fit and finish on the corian, wall tile and mirror installation.
3. A better effort to contain demolition and construction dust and debris throughout the project.
What would we as homeowners do differently:
1. In selecting natural stone or marble listelle (tile border), we would have personally hand selected each piece to better eliminate piece to piece variability. Not doing so caused significant rework charges and project delay. (Although we expected some variability in the natural stone product, no one emphasized the degree of variability that could be present).

Start to finish the best experience I have had with a general contractor. Pro staff and subcontractors were incredibly professional and courteous. Communication was very good. Quality of work was excellent, especially work done by tile subcontractor. Response to issues that developed during the job (there are always a few) was excellent. We got three bids for the job. Pro was slightly pricier than the other three but worth the premium for us. We will definitely use them again.

They are very professional and always do a very good job.  The Almonds are always pleasant, responsive and easy to work with.  The crews show up on time, clean up the worksight and do a great job.  One can find a contractor to do the job for less than what Pro charges, but you get what you pay for.  The extra that you pay for Pro Remodeling is well worth it.

First of all they are great people and they are all trustworthy and honest. If there is a mess they will come out and fix it and all that. The thing I don’t like is that, if I am not a person who is retired or available in the home all day, it takes months to get my work done. So this is the example; I have used them previously, the previous summer to remodel a kitchen. It is beautiful but it took months and at that time there were some issues with the counter top installers. My mother lived in another state, so I would be gone for a week about every three weeks and I just had them stop. I thought that was it. John came out at the end of April to initially evaluate everything and kind of give an estimate. I signed a contract at the end of may, work started at the end of July and I got my house back right before thanksgiving. It was extremely intrusive. They do beautiful work and when it gets done it is done and everything is great, but it is going to take a while. If they mess up, they will make it right; for example our cable was out. So I asked them what they did, and they said they didn’t do anything. I called their office and they advised me to get Comcast to come out and take care of the work. They said that they talked to the workers and they didn’t touch anything. So Comcast comes in and tells us that it was the electricians. So they came out and fixed it and then they ultimately paid for the bill I got from Comcast. They put this little dim light in an archway I have. I hadn't really asked for it. It was really enhancing the personality of the room and the ambience. It was two inches off center, they said that they couldn’t put it in the center because there was a board there. So I said I didn’t want an off center light. So they wound up writing that off but it is there. So it is the kind of goofy stuff like that; I am not sure I would do a big project with them again unless I was here every day to kind of keep track. The problem is, they are probably the best of what is out there. I still have some things to do. I would consider using them again but only if I could be here to make sure it got done. There would be another big issue. I have two old 15 year old indoor cats only, I would lock them every day. I told them that if they were not going to be there for a while they should let me know. They wouldn’t; a week would go by. It was kind of mean to lock up my pets everyday for a week. Then I was afraid not to lock them up because they would say that they would let us know and then they would show up. They would have doors open. The way I found that out was we would be home sometimes; my husband would work from home sometimes. My husband would say that they weren’t supposed to show up that day so he took the day to work from home, but then they came and the cats were out running around. I just have to watch them. That is why I never gave them an online review because I didn’t want to really give them a bad evaluation. It is going to be long and dragged out if I am not there to keep track of it. Part of it I think too is that, John is older and he is looking at retiring and his son is taking over. I can feel there is a little bit of a difference. He was a really nice man. His son is more businesslike. They have very definitive lines; I have to pay by this date and so forth. That’s fine but they have to put in the blank where they have somebody to complete the work. So I feel like it is lopsided a little bit; the contract is a little lopsided towards them. I would recommend them to others. Price and quality is good. I feel like I get what I paid for. They go back and forth a little bit but I am sure it is that way with all these guys. If I had an issue and wanted to talk with John, he would sort the time at my convenience and he would be there. He is kind of the front guy; he is good at talking to people and all that stuff. I don’t think that they as a group realize how intrusive it is to have them.

One of the owners came out on a Saturday to give us an estimate for water damage repairs.  Our washing machine was improperly installed in an upstairs laundry room and leaked water through to the garage ceiling and walls underneath the laundry room.  Once we accepted their bid, the job was performed quickly and the crew was very friendly and professional.  The bid was revised downward after the damaged drywall was removed and we determined that there was virtually no internal water damage to the structure or mold contamination.  Very satisfied!

Mr. Almond provided an estimate and I signed a contract. The chief problem was logistics and scheduling of the different jobs, each requiring different craftspeople. The kitchen floor had to be installed before the counters could be refinished, and so on. All this was handled efficiently and courteously. A few problems inevitably developed as we went along, which were handled sensibly; e.g., I did not like the grout color on the tile floor after it had dried, but the tile finishers were able to paint over the grout. Also the new floor was a little higher than the old one, so the kitchen door stuck when one tried to open it; the carpenter spent half a day rehanging the door and adjusting the sweep and the threshold. The new dishwasher was a tight fit, and after it was installed we discovered the plumbers had plugged it into the wrong receptacle; they had to come back and reinstall it. I was not charged extra for any of these incidents. The workmen/craftspeople were almost universally pleasant, careful, and proud of their work. I was delighted with the whole project.

They get an A+. From the time John walked in the door until the project was completed, all aspects were addressed in a very professional manner and the quality of the workmanship (including their subs) was outstanding. They extracted a premium for the project however it was well worth it. They are definitely pros.

Overall, everything went well with the exception of the engineered quartz (Silestone) countertops. We were told that it would take 2 weeks from the time of making the template to the time of installation--it was close to 4 weeks. Then, too many holes were cut out for the plumbing (even though the faucet was there) and that portion of countertop had to be removed and replaced (another week and a half). We had the induction cooktop recessed to be flush with the countertops and apparently when this happened one corner actually sat higher than the rest of the cooktop. Someone came out and made some adjustments to fix this--but apparently nobody else on the team knew this. We were requesting that something be done about the gap around the cooktop in the quartz, but everyone else was thinking that we were talking about the unevenness of the cooktop (which had been fixed)--anyway, it took another 2 weeks to get someone to the house to realized what we were talking about. I would recommend that you make a list of what has to be done at the onset of the job and just call routinely to followup--sometimes things are or are not done and which haven't been communicated. Overall I would do it again (with a different countertop company) with Pro Remodeling--we are very pleased with our kitchen.

From the time we met with the owner to discuss what we wanted done to the final day of touch up painting it went extremely well. This was the third time we have remodeled a home we were living in and it was by far the best experience. Everyone was friendly and pleasant to have around. They arrived on time every day, worked hard and cleaned up before they left. Some days there were only one or two people and some days there were seven or eight depending on what was being done. We needed to have a place for our cat to hide out so they did all of one end of the house first then moved to the other end so he would always be in a undisturbed room which we appreciated very much. Also my husband works from home so they accommodated his schedule when it came time to replace the floor in his office. When we asked for advice on paint and tile colors & types they made great suggestions and as a result the finished product is just beautiful. We could not be more pleased & would highly recommend the
