"I originally hired Carpet Police to clean the carpets in my house. They were the first to respond when I got on Angie's List. Somehow, Carpet Police got usurped by another company called Arizona Island. Arizona Island did a terrible job and I called Carpet Police, again, to please come and repair the bad carpet cleaning that was done. Carpet Police did as good a job as I could possible expect to fix what went wrong. Alfonso was efficient, friendly, wore his mask when he was inside and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again."
"The cleaning crew is okay with cleaning the house. However, they did not clean areas behind doors. They are suppose to be here for 3 hours, but you'll be lucky if you can get two out of them. The last crew showed us a range of 11 - 12:30 and said that this was how long they were to spend. In fact, this was the range of when they were to arrive. The management makes promises they can't keep. We have been overcharged for less than the amount of time we were promised. We are going to look for someone else. We won't use this service again. "
"I want to say thank you to Charles and his crew for doing a outstanding job on the moving. Charles asked me if I had my windows cleaned in the new house and I said no and he said that we could clean the windows if I wanted them done. So I had c2 windows cleaning do the windows as well. The windows looked great. Thank you c2 and Charles"
"Very nice, responsive staff. Received my equipment quickly and rather simple to set-up. The only oddity people should be aware of, is that the sensor pair may not attach on doors where the surrounding trim has ornate molding close to the edge (i.e. one sensor attaches to the door but the other adjoining sensor needs to attach to the trim). The sensors will have a terrible time sticking to the trim, unless you carve out the moulding so there's a 1/2 inch flat surface for it to adhere cleanly. So just fyi. The staff is wonderful - very nice & helpful. "

Both a well-constructed deck and a patio can add value to your home. Patios are generally cheaper to build but don’t offer the same aesthetics as a quality deck. Therefore, decks can be more appealing to buyers than patios, increasing a home's resale value.
Pavers are a great decking option for pools. They’re customizable, come in a variety of shapes, sizes, colors, textures, materials, and price points, and they’re slip-resistant. Concrete pool decks, on the other hand, are harder to repair and replace if damaged and aren’t as slip-resistant as most paver materials. However, not all pavers are equal in terms of durability, maintenance, and performance. Pavers also have their own cons that may encourage homeowners to opt for stamped concrete instead, such as higher upfront costs.
Before installing a new railing, check the condition of the deck frame and joists, especially around the perimeter where posts attach. If boards are loose, soft, or show signs of rot, the structure may need repair. A deck pro can inspect your framing to confirm it meets load-bearing requirements.
It is possible to pressure wash your deck, but it’s usually best to leave the work to a professional for two main reasons. First, power washers are expensive, and you can avoid high upfront costs by hiring a deck washing pro instead. Second, you must be careful to use the correct setting to avoid damaging your deck material. You can only clean soft woods like pine with a wide spray and a low pressure; otherwise, the water will leave unpleasant marks on your deck. Hard woods, composite material, and metal can stand up to increasingly higher water pressures.
Building a deck without a permit could lead to fines for both the homeowner and the contractor. The exact penalties will depend on your state and municipal building laws. You might also be required to remove the deck and apply for a permit before you can build another. While it might be tempting to skip the permit to save a few bucks, it’ll cost you much more if you’re caught.
