Small jobs welcome

"Our solar electronic gate is very nice. It works well. It needs a slight adjustment and a latch. I did not know we would need a latch. I guess the installer did not know either. He did not have one at the time of installation so that is the reason for the 4.5 stars versus the 5 stars."

"Very professional crew, they had my 150ft by 80ft shop built in no time. Installed three jumbo remote garage doors for a very reasonable price. I will be using this company again for my upcoming projects."

"We hired them to encircle our 5 acre property with a metal fence, to include 2 gates for our entries. We also had them construct shade structures for our horses, hitching post and a package box. They did a fantastic job. They were reliable, professional and detail oriented. They clearly take pride in their work, and they should. We have the nicest fence in our neighborhood! We highly recommend Cat Mtn for any fencing and gate projects. You can trust them to show up and do high quality work."

Also, his scheduling, communication, and collaboration was amazing. Itâ s so lovely to have the plan become perfect reality and on schedule!!!. Even small challenges with locks were solved quickly and professionally. I highly recommend Adam and his crew! They do great work!"

"Rusty and his crew were great. The cost was reasonable and realistic. Our home is older had some unanticipated challenges, but they were able to make it all work. They went above and beyond my expectations. No loafing on the job, either...they worked hard. The finished product looks awesome! I have already recommended them to others. You won't be sorry!"

Welding questions, answered by experts

Yes, but you’ll need reliable steel-cutting tools and safety gear to get started. Shipping containers are typically around ¾ inch thick, so it’s entirely possible to cut through them, but experience and the right equipment are very important. When possible, try to get a container as close to the size you want it as possible.

Welding is the process of using extreme heat—and, sometimes, pressure—to attach two pieces of metal. In contrast, metal fabrication is a more involved process that can include welding, sheet metal work, bending, and other forms of metal manipulation. Metal fabrication is a large-scale project that may or may not involve welding, while welding is more often a step in larger fabrication projects.

Sawing your hot tub into more manageable chunks so it can be lifted easily into a truck takes several hours. Generally, 2.5 hours for smaller hot tubs and around 4 hours for larger ones with the help of one to two people. If money isn't a concern and you want to skip the physical labor, you can hire a pro to get the job done.

Yes, you can cut plexiglass by hand using a sharp knife or blade (utility knife, box cutter, glass cutter, etc.).

Cutting rectangular ductwork requires careful measurements and the right technique. Use a measuring tape and pencil to mark the cutting lines accurately. Tin snips are excellent for straight cuts on smaller ducts. For more extensive or thicker rectangular ducts, a reciprocating saw with a metal-cutting blade is effective.

Ensure the duct is well-supported and secure while cutting to prevent wobbling and maintain precision. After cutting, use a metal file to smooth any sharp edges, ensuring safety during installation.
