Customers say: True professional

"After living in Arizona for two years, it has been difficult to find a qualified company for the welding service I needed on my patio chairs. Country Strong Fabrications has proven to be a dependable service with punctuality, workmanship, debris clean-up and fair prices. I’m very, very pleased with the beautiful work that Josh did. I would truly recommend Country Strong Fabrication’s to everyone I know."

"Mr Corrales arrived as scheduled to give me an estimated.  The price was fair for the amount of work required.  Mr Corrales was able to schedule the work at a very good time for me.  His people showed up and completed the work in a professional manner and left the areas they worked in clean.  Hector's Ornaments is a very well run organization, I highly recommend their services to fellow Angie's List users.

"The man assigned to the project, Mark, was promptly at our house from 7:45 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. or later every day for 11 days. Some added work we requested made him decide on his own to come in on a Saturday in order to stay on schedule. We offered coffee, soda, water but he didn't want to break his work stride. He didn't want to eat lunch. He never even used the rest room while on the job!!! This man was the most dedicated, professional construction specialist I have ever met. (I was a construction OSHA safety administrator for a major corporation in Chicago.) Mark worked with integrity and had amazing attention to detail. Carl, the company owner was so easy to work with it was like dealing with a trusted friend. His showroom has every option we needed. I would readily recommend this company to any friend or family member.

"Jesus is an amazingly talented welder and iron door designer. I gave him a few pictures of what I would like and he customized my door and gates to perfection. I have referred him to several friends and neighbors. He is extremely polite, professional, reliable, and passionate about the details of his work. He’s prices are fair and reasonable. I can brag about him all day! He’s work is incredible!"

"They initially gave me a quote several months before the work but due to some minor issues on my side we did not contract them right away.
When he came out to do the estimate he was very prompt and had a very good feel of what to do to solve my problem (long balcony railing that was a bit wobbly in the center).
He was able to weld uprights and tie the railing to the roof.  It looks good and he even painted it with the supplied paint.  You cannot even see the welds.
The railing is now strong and looks good.  He cleaned up after himself and was very professional. I would defiantly recommend Williams Custom Iron to anyone with a railing issue (or any other metal project).

Welding questions, answered by experts

To maintain custom or fabricated metal structures and extend their lifespan and appearance, perform regular cleaning, apply rust prevention treatments, and use protective coatings.

Welding is the process of using extreme heat—and, sometimes, pressure—to attach two pieces of metal. In contrast, metal fabrication is a more involved process that can include welding, sheet metal work, bending, and other forms of metal manipulation. Metal fabrication is a large-scale project that may or may not involve welding, while welding is more often a step in larger fabrication projects.

Yes, you can use a saw to cut metal pipes. The best saw to use is a reciprocating saw, but even a fine-tooth hacksaw can get the job done. No matter which saw you use to cut metal pipes, wear protective gear, like work gloves, safety goggles, and ear plugs. Apply a firm, steady pressure to the tool, and always ensure the pipes are secured so they don't move while you make the cuts.

This all depends on the tools you have on hand and whether you’re trying to cut a straight line or shapes.

The best tool to use for straight lines is either a circular saw or table saw. When cutting shapes, a jigsaw will be the easiest and most precise tool to use.

While a high-speed circular saw will cut through metal, and even cut through multiple sheets at once, the fast-spinning saw blades create a lot of heat. This heat can damage paint and other protective coatings, leading to serious problems like rust over time. The cost to paint a metal roof again to avoid this damage is typically an additional $0.50 to $1 per square foot.
