Their price was so favorable compared to the other estimates we got that we weren't sure what to expect, so to say we were pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. "The initial response to my Angie's list big deal was prompt.  Sid came to my house to give me an estimate.  Originally he was going to remove wallpaper in 3 bathrooms.  When he saw the areas he kept saying he would do as much as he could then the rest would be more money.  The work was scheduled for early September.  When I contacted Sid in Sept. he was having problems with his truck but he did come on Saturday of that week to do the work.  He started in the master bathroom.  After a little more than 3 hours I checked in.  I was amazed to find only about 2.5 or 3 strips removed.  Sid looked stressed and the room was a mess.  I told him to stop for the day and we could reschedule the remaining hour and he gave me an estimate of $200 to complete the bathroom.  This was not a large area.  I had some difficulty in contacting Sid to schedule the rest of the work and I had to call Angies's List before I got a response from him.  Eventually he came back and removed the rest of the wallpaper.  This time it went smoothly and it took about 5hours.  I then said I did not want anymore paper removed and paid him $200.  This was a frustrating and disappointing experience.

Since Brent had worked for us before, we contracted with him to refinish the fifty-four drawers and doors with a dark gel stain. It was a very long and painstaking process, but we couldn't be happier with the results. Over the years, Brent has removed wallpaper, painted at least half the rooms in our house, and did some of the exterior fascia prep work and painting. When our son bought an older home in Mountain Park Rank, he used Brent to remove the popcorn ceiling and repaint all the rooms.
